that's 100% what happened on the 1st big play
and also Marcus Williams first game back - think he was probably slightly too late to get to the 2-hole to make a play
the 2nd big one was on Marlon for sure

and the DPI was utter bullshit - was textbook corner play on a endzone fade

Our defense. Pickens is absolutely abusing Humphrey. They've been able to march down the field, but our ILBs got 2 picks off Mitch.

Ok notes from the first half.

1) The run game exists!!! It's nice having our whole suite of guys.
2) The offense has been very blah in the pass game.
3) Roman is being a little too cute, Harbs is being too aggressive.

4) The defense was destroying Pickett, but has been giving up chunk plays to Trubisky.
5) LBs have been playing lights out but the secondary and Safeties in particular have been bad.
6) MM is playing so soft and it's led to RZ after RZ after RZ trip for the Steelers.

I really wish Harbaugh would realize this team has to take the points every time they can and stop with these 4th down attempts. It also effects the momentum in addition to the score.
