I am sure I am not alone when I questioned why we placed him on IR.

I saw no legit reason to stash him.

I later found out he was attacked, and had head injuries and according to one report lost all his teeth.

Cool on the RAVENS for putting him on IR thus keeping him with some form of insurance and some income.

Hoping and praying for a speedy recovery.

I’m not sure it was all his teeth, but not sure either.

Just stating what an article said.

Does it really matter if it was all or just some of his teeth?

Yes it definitely matters, like 3 teeth apposed to literally every single one....it matters lol

Not sure how all of this works but it may also give them a chance to trade him at some point. I am sure though he can’t get out of Charm City fast enough!

This is so unfortunate. Life in the USA is different than Norway's.

ill clear up some confusion
the NFI list works a bit like PUP - he is untradeable while he is on the list and can return after 6 weeks (if he's ready) - at that point the Ravens have to decide whether to activate him or whether to keep him on the NFI list for the rest of the year - i think he only becomes tradeable if we activate him to the 53 at the end of the 6 weeks (+3 weeks of practice time) - so basically we should all expect to see vedvik in camp as a raven next offseason (and then we'll probably try to shift him)

I am bored.
I will play along.
Okay, so working on assumption here.
It seems he got kicked in the face, by some turd of a human being.
So it is your contention that it actually matters how hard and or how often he was kicked in the face, if in fact he was kicked in the face.
The amount and the intensity matters.
Is that correct?

I think there are a bunch of unknowns here. Do they intend to try to keep him? Or is he just on that list for the benefits Dog mentioned? He’s been such a high performer I don’t see how some team with the need doesn’t snatch him up when he heals. IDK, maybe not. I just hope he is OK and doesn’t have any permanent damage.

If I am a betting man, I think the Ravens IR'd for his sake.
Which is classy.

im saying that a team wont be able to pick him up when he heals unless we activate him first which cant happen until after week 6 (if he's even fully healed by then)

Or they could simply remove him from the list and release him to sign with another team. Correct?

Actually, yes it does matter, but I get where you are coming from as well. I certainly hope it’s not all his teeth. This is coming from the son of an orthodontist.

Okay...so first off, I was not talking about the severity of him being kicked in the face.

If you’re trying to freaking tell me that Vevdik doesn’t care how many teeth he lost, you’re insane. It’s a lot easier to fix 3 missing teeth than it is to have freakin dentures for the rest of your life. I promise you he cares.

Also, even if we WERE talking about how long and hard he got kicked in the face, you don’t think that fucking matters? You’re telling me you wouldn’t care whether I beat the shit out of you for 5 minutes or 2 hours? Wtf are you even talking about.
