Well Andrews did have more rec yards than KittleI said someone from either Philly or San Fran. Philly to me is what our offense should have evolved into after 2019, a solid run game but better passing game which Brian Johnson brings to the table. Of course just putting Lamar, Dobbins, Gus, and Andrews in that West Coast/Shanahan offense would be deadly so Slowik is fine too. Seeing Andrews used like Kittle and Kelce.... insane to think about.
I hate the way they frame it. As if Roman is the reason Lamar Jackson is the way he is. Roman has been around for years and not once had something as explosive as he did here thanks to Jackson. This is the same player that did this in college and won a Heisman

Lamar could have been even better in 2019. We would have one the SB if it wasn't for Roman/Andy Reid has been coaching for over 10 years and he probably hasn't had a offense as explosive as the one he has now with Patrick M as his quarterback. I don't think Greg Roman made Lamar Jackson who he is but I think it has been kind of weird that fans have down played Roman success as if Jackson put him on the map. It's true Alex Smith was considered a bust before Roman came along, It's true a 6th round quarterback(Tyrod Taylor) drafted by The Ravens ended up making the pro bowl after playing in Greg Roman offense, and It's true Colin Kaepernick had his best years under Greg Roman.
It's probably also true this wave of The NFL implementing college /high school level offensive concepts in their offense probably was inspired by Greg Roman success with The 49ers. Teams like The Rams and even Bears have been noted for copying some stuff that Romans does in his offense. I'm not at all saying Roman departure means LJ is going to regress or be bad but I think Roman was better than given credit for regardless if it was time for him and The Ravens to move one after last year.

Lamar is the opposite of Flacco; great int he regular season, but not so great in the playoffsNah that first playoff was totally due to The Ravens defense playing poorly and receivers dropping key passes. 2019 /2020 playoff is probably the only time we saw LJ throwing mechanics be at it's best if we comparing to other playoff games he has played in since then

have you seen how many 1st round picks they have traded. I mean they don't have a 1st round pick until 2045how stupid do you think the rams are?
Think we may have been 2nd, but Wink got worse with each passing year and never truly adjusted with all the injuries we were having. We also needed to play more zone coverage schemes to be able to stop these big passing offenses, ie the Bengals.I am not sure that I agree with that. Though it's true that Joe had a record of 4-3 in his first 3 appearances in the playoffs, he only threw 3TDS and 7ints in those games.
We did manage to win a few of those games but remember the type of defense we had and the type of Rb we had as well. Can't fall in love with records all the time.
In those 3 years the Ravens defense was 3rd in points scored against for each of those years
It was Flaccos 4th trip to the playoofs where he turned it on.
I think our defense was rank 3 in 2019 if I am not mistaken
