Ive saw a few times were teams revenue were public or atleast they put it out for people to see.

Maybe with Allen but on par with Mahomes nah. No way. Now if Lamar wants to work out a contract like Allen's I'm all for it cuz I consider them comparable. Not alike but comparable. I looked at OTC before responding and that's fair imo It shouldn't be next man gets paid cuz of insanity by a trash orginaztion. Lot of things to look at here. Lamar's injuries being at the forefront. Being knocked out 2 seasons in a row gotta be looked at. I would be super excited to see what he can do under a different oc. Cut rpo's and designed runs by half at least. He has averaged over 100 runs each damn season and that has to stop.

He's an interesting one. Been an effective chain mover throughout his career that can be a threat with the right amount of space in front of him. More of a volume guy but I don't think that's a bad thing. Not sure he's the game changer as you mentioned, but struggle to see how he's not a clear upgrade over our current options in the slot at a minimum.

Would like to see where that's happened. Only team I know that does it or is required to do it is the Packers, because they're technically owned by the public.

Yea i know packers are public but maybe i saw some revenue projection thing a while back that showed it which probably was as accurate as the networths that forbes puts out

The Ravens spend near or at the top of their cap every year, so being cheap has nothing to do with it. Their business model is to be competitive every year, and in order to do that you can’t overspend on one position when there always seems to be many needs to fill.

True, though spending to the cap doesn't mean teams necessarily spend a lot of $ year over year. A lot of teams have cash spending that is significantly lower than cap spending, and vice versa.

I did find this interesting blurb while researching him.


On December 7, 2016, the University of Oregon announced Taggart as the Ducks' new head coach, replacing the fired Mark Helfrich.[7]

In January 2017, three Oregon football players were hospitalized after grueling military-style workouts.[8] Multiple sources described the workouts to the Oregonian as "akin to military basic training, with one said to include up to an hour of continuous push-ups and up-downs."[9] Taggart personally visited the ill and hospitalized players to wish them a speedy recovery

He only went to the hospital to make sure they weren't faking. And I've seen his Miami coached teams. No thanks.
