The 2023 Offseason Thread

We dnt have to win the division to make playoffs nor do we have to be the favorites to win a playoff game lol.. anyway, all im saying is that we dnt need to get all that much better.
Meaning, we won't. Nobody looked at last years team and thought "yeah, SB contender". The talent wasn't there in key spots.

We have several areas to improve, and we have several areas that we'll lose players that we'll need to replace them. Extending Lamar doesn't achieve any of those things. It just means we have a QB we can with, not a QB we will win with.

Dam reading the tweets, sounds like he is the reason for players reinjuring themselves.. max williams tweet is the one
I agree. Hard to blame injuries themselves on the strength coach. I can very much see him not being quality with helping players return from injury.

Hence why I said firing Saunders is a lot like firing Castillo and thinking it will "solve all your problems". It won't. Players will still get injured. Hopefully a new strength coach will a) create an offseason program that allows them to be in better shape for camp and the season and b) is more innovative and modern in terms of helping players build up strength to recover from injury.

Saunders is the convenient guy to blame because he's already been fired, and because fans rarely blame players for anything. So gotta blame somebody.

I'm seeing a few Ravens fans getting very defensive about the Saunders stuff. It's like they invested a lot in the belief that the Ravens were better, and better run, than the rest of the NFL and this has really shaken their foundations and made them come out defending hard.

I don't know why they're worried. In a week or two, when the fuss dies down, they'll be back to telling us how wonderful the Ravens are and how spoiled the fanbase is if they dare to question anything.

Yeah, you're spoiled if you dare to question anything, so stop posting about Saunders, and talk about who we should draft lol

It's pretty hard to blame the players for this one. It's not exactly hard to believe that Harbaugh kept someone incompetent in their job far too long - we've seen it with Marty, Roman, Castillo etc before - we know he has a history of it.

Just on a completely side note here... I have so much respect for Maxx Williams.

Dude shredded his knee and got a groundbreaking surgery and lost all of his explosion. Dude busted his ass to turn into a blocker to stick in the league.

I haven't seen Maxx's comment. What did he say?

Damn we got all kinds of drama these days.

Batemen was way out of line. They gotta squash that stuff behind the scenes
