The 2023 Offseason Thread

It makes no sense. Blah blah he and Rock play the same position. Blah blah who cares? You had the opportunity to resign Marcus fucking Peters for way less than he's actually worth given the age and somewhat down season post knee injury.
We thought we regretted letting boldin leave but we got a super bowl out of him, just wait til refusing to bring back peters results in us missing out on one…
I think part of it was personality driven. We’ve seen the drama on the sidelines and John will only take so much. We saw similar issues with his time in KC and LA. Pretty sure the chiefs suspended him a couple games for an on field outburst.

I actually posted early in the off season, I'm so happy we play the Bengals early. It will be really refreshing to see how each of our healthy teams stack up against each other. But now it's probably gonna be Burrow throwing 500 yards on the JV team again

Couldn’t even make it to week 1, I mean jesus. Yea we should still stomp the Texans but no CBs against burrow again, the only time he can do anything against us

What the alternative in Cinci? Get drunk off cheap beer until you throw up moms skyline chili?

CB2: Brandon Stephens
CB3: Kevon Seymour
CB4: Arthur Maulet
CB5: Jalyn Armour-Davis

IF Burrow plays in that game, of course.

Just throwing this out there, but if Burrow doesn't play, which can't be ruled out at this point, the first three weeks of the year include two rookies, at home, with offenses that don't look good on paper, and a backup QB in Cincy.

You're not wrong. The Houston and Indy games are very kind to us. Burrow will play Week2

Burrow is playing, he’s fine. Already throwing and sprinting, bengals always avoid bad injuries

I'm regrettably of the opinion no.
Lol yea, hopefully someone at least develops and it’s better than the shit we had on the field in 2021.

At least it’s not season ending I guess, it could be worse. But the damn foot, that’s never good, that can so easily just get reinjured
