2023 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Back to the game... this will be more relevant for Wednesday but I'll call it out now as well

New rule this year: 1 bid per post. No more multiple bids in one post. Going to be a lot more players to keep up with and we don't need long ass quote tweets and things of the sort as we weed through the new process.
 
Can we restructure the contract of a player that we traded for?
And if so the base salary and the Cap hit would be the same for the receiving team, so they would save 30% right?

yes you may restructure a player you trade for as long as you haven't restructured one already. You will use 30% since as you said, the base and cap hit is the same on acquired players.

If you have already restructured a player you may reverse the structure and restructure the acquired player if you so choose. There are no rules against that.

The Giants laugh and can create more space at a moment's notice. Unlike real life, these Giants have no interest in paying a QB 40+/year...
