2023 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

Talking about disappearing
Back on the BR Boards we had a user who was very active during the Forum Mock, he even was a Mod or Admin or something I believe. All of a sudden during the Draft he was gone from one day to the next, never came back during that Forum Mock.
I believe his name was True (no, not truth lol)

Did he make it over to these boards? Or does anybody know what happened to him?

True! That was my boy. Guy straight up disappeared and was never heard from again. I hope it was on his own terms. He helped come up with and then head this process back in 2011. I took over for him after his sudden departure. I do hope he's alright wherever he is.

It'd be even sillier to trade away St. Brown for the No.1 overall selection and not take a quarterback. Also, he doesn't have Goff. He released him for 21 Stars worth of savings. On that exact amount alone, he brought in Derek Carr, Brandon Graham and Marquise Brown. And then he brought in a QB who would be expected to surpass both current versions of Goff and Carr in the near future, all while making just 9 Stars for the next 4 seasons, which opens up the salary cap to improve the rest of the roster. Could not agree less with your assessment.
I know

lol Massive risk, for sure. I wouldn't have expected him to last without the concerns, and there's still no telling where his floor is. But with Chris Jones being the focus on the defensive front, perhaps Carter could benefit from being brought along slowly.

The player is great
His Jerome brown tendencies not so much lol

nice pick. will not influence my decision. If my trade doesn't go, I will make a SHOCKING move, I guarantee you

I was wondering where Jalen carter would go and if he would fall far after the off the field stuff and pro day, which looked really sloppy.

And great pick in Jaxon Smith-Ngiba! I had my eyes on him as well, some will see it´s a bit of a reach at 7, but i think he is the best WR in this class that could turn into a very productive player early on!

Yeah I wanted to trade back, but it failed.

Quentin Johnston has all the talent in the world, but lets the ball get into his chest too much. He just doesn't play to his size and doesn't seem to trust his hands. He's either going to be a top WR in the league or a complete bust. That being said, I think he is going to be very good.

we're all the same person now. 3 teams for one person

I think [...] is being slept on, also If anybody looking to move a first hit me up roster and picks in play for the right move

@paRAYdise Good pick in Witherspoon. I was on the fence between him, Gonzalez and another player. Went for Gonzalez for his work on the boundaries, especially with Philadelphia losing Brandon Graham, Javon Hargrave, T.J. Edwards and James Bradberry. But I strongly, strongly considered Witherspoon, whom could end up being better than Gonzalez.
