the most chargers turn of events: a positive play wasnt quite positive enough and it ended up with them conceding 6 points (nearly 2 points three plays in a row and then gave up a td)

and may have also injured the punter during the block too
So Los Angeles is beating Los Angeles? lol

Titans @ Jaguars:
If you want to get to the Super Bowl in the AFC, you must go through Sacksonville. A win over the Patriots most likely sealed the one seed barring losing tiebreakers with the Chiefs and now welcome the Titans in a AFC South clash. The Titans are coming off a huge win over the Texans but may be slowed by the Jags defense. Blake Bortles is coming into his own as a starting QB and is finally showing why they picked him 3rd overall in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Yet they can't even beat the Titans in a Field Goal Game.

i still dont understand how mychal kendricks can play in the NFL despite pleading guilty to insider trading but eric reid is not currently on a team in the NFL even as a backup (but he should be starting in this league)

Kendricks is allowed to play during his appeal of a white collar crime while Reid pissed off the NFL owners.

Titans swept them last year, with this win they have won 3 straight over the Jags.
I guess any team can lose a stinker, but did not think it would happen so soon after handling the Patriots so easily. I guess the Titans just have their number recently.

my point is... is that not an awful look for the NFL owners - they will take criminals who are literally waiting to be sentenced (he's not appealing given that he gave a guilty plea) rather than completely clean professionals who are community heroes

mitch trubisky on his own sinking this promising bears team - they've got a great offensive mind, a great offensive scheme, some great offensive pieces and trubisky just finds a way to drag them down each week

The Bears had a great opportunity to take over the NFC North with both the Packers and Vikings losing today. Seems they won't be able to take advantage.

Kendrick’s did plead guilty but is still awaiting his appeal with the league. The important lesson here is never bite the hand that feeds you.

i just think for the owners to take that view of players like Eric Reid and Colin Kaepernick but to applaud and laud players like randy gregory and martavis bryant and reward them with multiple opportunities that says something to me...

I made the same point in the political thread(figured I keep that there) and said that his collusion case got a huge assist out of Kendricks playing while facing Federal Charges. I don't really think there is collusion, it's just the same feeling teams had about Tebow, and think Colin isn't a good enough QB. Colin's agent says there are teams interested in him so we'll see what happens.

I can understand there being a case for Kaep not being on a team - he's a system-specific QB so there's only a few teams where he would fit the existing system which is a primary reason for choosing a backup qb...

Eric Reid is a bigger issue - there are injuries at safety all over the league - why is a starting-level safety who had his best year of his career in 2017 not even on a team

On a personal level I appreciate the message Kaepernick and Reid delivered. They did bring controversy to the NFL, causing problems for the owners. Causing problems for your employer is not good for continued employment.

These 4PM games are just meh.... it sucks even more when there is only 3 games to choose from compared to 1PM with like 10 games to watch.
