I'd be fine with Bateman staying on the outside, between those two new WRs and the TEs, we're not exactly short of middle field receivers.

Yep. His rookie year, with Hollywood there, he was almost exclusively picking up first downs going across the middle.

It will be interesting to see how they play the rest of the draft, especially at CB.

Do they think that maybe the last remaining guy on your list (if we're lucky) is a starter or will they just draft depth on both lines and at Safety etc and address CB with vets?

Not sure. Thinking a vet will be added to the CB room regardless if we draft one today. MP won't be expensive

Just funny how the media is acting surprised about Levis when he was just media hype because he played QB. QBs get overrated leading up to the Draft.

i mean he's clearly a class above the rest of the QBs in the draft - but was also clearly not in that top 3 group for me at least

I didn't interpret SSS's comments as hating on him, per se. It's not like we haven't seen Bateman go across the middle (i.e. Dolphins game). I see this as a way to motivate him to be better (along with staying healthy).

That's how I see it as well. Bate does go across the middle, but how many times did we see him drop it on those plays last year? Could be concentration drops or could also be construed as he didn't want to take a hit; regardless of the reason, Bate needs to be better in those situations.

Our lists are very similar! Expecting those OL to be gone. Expecting only McBride to maybe be there. Maybe also Spears. I forgot Branch by accident.
