sorryAnd stop kissing your own biceps.
You look stupid doing that.

At no point did anybody ever concern themselves with the issues he tried to bring to light...at no point did anybody ask "why do you feel this way and what can be done to have you stand with us again"
NOPE, this is going to be possibly the 2nd athlete to be black balled for his stance on the pledge....Would I have done it that way? No, however it was extremely peaceful and he had the support of plenty in the military.
Did we disown the Ravens when we kept Ray Lewis during trial? Did we disown the Ravens for Ray Rice? (He plays had it not been for the video)
All I am saying is, look around the league...look who IS aloud to play and given multiple chances...and THIS, THIS IS the guy we want to make an example of?
I wouldn't mind having Kap as our backup, in his time he lead an offense with great success and put up HUGE numbers in during their playoff runs...they just met us at the wrong time. Our current backup has nowhere near the resume he does...
Rant over
Nobody wants him because he sucks.
And nobody wants to hear how racist America is and how the USA oppresses minorities from a black guy making $16M per year and wears socks depicting police as pigs. He's just another brain damaged SJW, why would any team want to deal with his nonsense?
You're so much more open outside of the old home. I kinda like this. I think we may disagree a bit more on issues outside of football
If Kaep shows up here, I'll be mad because he sucks. I'm a first amendment extremist, and I don't hold anything against him personally for taking the knee. There are more effective ways of being an advocate for his cause, and there are flaws with his rhetoric, but he definitely put it in the spotlight in a civil way. He also lost a lot of credibility when he said he didn't vote. People who complain about issues and advocate for their causes without voting are my least favorite kind of people.
I will say that his teammates voted to give him a leadership award at the end of the season. Interpret that as you will.
This guy is horrible. If we pick him up I'm gonna be more furious than when we picked up Schaub that one year.
Then again, I doubt he's ever employed again. Not even because of the anthem thing. But because he sucks.
Not like he needs the money though
Well, public spaces, but there are instances of private businesses being ruled against in extreme cases. The first amendment covers government only not private owned businesses.
Just so we're clear, look up Pruneyard Shopping Center v Robinson. The first amendment covers government only not private owned businesses.
Which is exactly why I said STATE CLAUSES....What It is simple.
The wording of the first amendment.
The first word is congress.
If the courts misinterpret that or over step their boundaries that is another story entirely.
The whole point of the Constitution is to limit government not the people.
Just read up on that case.
It was a state level thing not a federal level.
See tenth amendment.
I wasn't really able to touch on this due to BR.com's rules. So i guess i will finally chime in.
I could honestly care less about the kneeling fiasco, do i agree with him? No. But, he has every right to say or do what he wants, but if he is going to do that he needs to be prepared for the consequences as he is slowly finding out now. When you represent an organization and wear a uniform that you share with other men (or women in a bigger picture) it is no longer "I or ME," it is now a "We or US." Doing what he did disrespects the organization and the people who he works for/with and sign his checks.
One saying I hate more than most, is "you may not like my opinion, but you have to respect" or something to that nature, which is just a load of bs. If your opinion has no basis of an argument backed by facts, why would i respect that, even if its what you believe. Listening to him when he would talk there is no way you can take him seriously, he was very uniformed and would not go on certain shows that would ask him the questions that dig deeper in this subject. If you are trying to spread the word about whatever the hell he was, wouldn't you use every single opportunity?
Kap and i are about the same age, i have two years on him but i was raised much differently and i think this is a common trait we are beginning to see with the millennials (not all). With all the social media and everyone's opinion being heard, especially if your famous, so many people are trying to speak out about things that they clearly are not informed about, that creates a problem when someone has 5 million followers or whatever and regurgitates absolute garbage . The younger generation is growing up believing they are special and unique when they haven't done anything to deserve any praise, that's what 14th place trophies do. Sometimes people just aren't good at stuff in life, deal with it and move on.
Are there bad cops that are racist? Absolutely, we cant be so ignorant to think racism is gone, I am from a small town in Arkansas and i can tell you for damn sure, racism is alive and well in some areas. That being said, i cant speak on the experiences a black person has had, because....i am white as hell. But i will say one thing, i have never had an issue with a cop before when speaking to one and I have been arrested before (mistaken identity), all i did was comply and it was handled in a non-violent matter without any negative words being exchanged. So for some it may not be as easy, but to me, just comply.
Cliff-notes: Sorry for the rant, its late and i cant sleep. Kaps talent does not exceed his troubles/he isn't a good qb, comply with cops, don't do illegal stuff and most likely you wont get shot. Younger generation needs to stop thinking they are special, band participation trophies.
*sheds tear*I hate to harp on millenials, they get so much flak as it is, and for the most part rightly so.
But I think we should also consider that they are the way they are because of the people who raised them, and the BS climate that the Obama administration helped usher into this country. Trump is a lot of bad things, but he was spot on when he said political correctness is destroying this country. And that isn't news to a lot of us, he was simply the voice of the opinion many of us held. Kaepernick is everything that is wrong with the millenials all rolled into one package....but I see little of the positives that millenials also possess.
Anyway, crawling back to my safe space now. LOL
No, we said repeatedly it is his right to say what he wants, we simply think what he believes is a steaming pile of shit. We also said the main reason we don't want him is because he blows. And we don't have to believe he brings distractions, many people and players have already said as much. You guys really dont like him for standing up for what he believes in? Yall really think he gonna bring distractions? Lol some of youre crazy. If you think he sucks just say that but dont talk down on him cause of what happened last season.
*sheds tear*
Thank you.
I have to agree here. He was raised by well off white parents and signed a contract for millions of dollars years ago. Are there racists in this country? Absolutely. The sad part is, there always will be.
Not a Trump super fan but I do agree with him on the safe spaces and political correctness thing. I'm tired of watching everything I say.. And I'm not even racist.
As a person who is not white, have I had to face racism? Oh absolutely. But those people are lost causes. Screw em.
Now to go back into my safe space.
You guys really dont like him for standing up for what he believes in? Yall really think he gonna bring distractions? Lol some of youre crazy. If you think he sucks just say that but dont talk down on him cause of what happened last season.
My last memory of Cape Town before moving here to the US was watching a group of white people throwing molotav cocktails at my uncle's work van and through the windows of his house, while I was in it. Our offense? We aren't 100% white, so my uncle had no business being able to afford nice houses and vehicles. The day before that, my mother and I watched a black woman get stabbed in the neck twice in a supermarket. Her offense? She grabbed the last two gallons of whole milk on the shelf, depriving the righteous white lady of it.
So we came to the US because....wait for it....this is where people of all races have a real chance to have a good life. I'm not trying to downplay the fact that there is racism in this country, but this country is a sanctuary. Anyone who has ever left this country can tell you that.
quite frankly he's not wrong in his stance but he ain't right...however compared to the mass brainwashing in this country and the la la crap that is the national anthem and all that patriotic nonsense i wouldn't give either the time of day as it's grade A trivial brainwashing. Nationalism, Patriotism and the military are merely tools for this system to keep everyone brainwashed, obedient and fearful. This goes with all other nations, religious and set beliefs.
I care for neither
Black lives matter? All fucking lives matter. It's implying that only blacks suffer in this world and wait..other lives dont?
There is so much occult knowledge that people lack and they only see things as a shallow black and white..
Look into the greyscale
So fuck the anthem and fuck kap.
