Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on the forum and welcome to Week 12 of the National Football League. How do you follow the game that just happened on Monday Night? We shall find out as Thanksgiving Day is serving up three games and two of which will feature backup Quarterbacks starting. The other, is a NFC South showdown between the Saints and Falcons. Sunday features a pivotal game in Carolina as the Seahawks travel to Charlotte in what will be a determining factor in the NFC Wild Card playoff picture. The Texans look to put the AFC South on lock down against the Titans on Monday Night Football.

Bears @ Lions: In the first of our annual Thanksgiving (game) day traditions, the Lions host the NFC North leading Chicago Bears as they are riding high off a big win over the Vikings. Unfortunately, they must do it without the arm of Mitchell Trubisky and the guidance of Chase Daniels. Can the Bears secure a victory without Trubisky under center or will the Lions feast on some Bears for Thanksgiving?

Redskins @ Cowboys: Our second annual (game) day tradition features the Cowboys playing host to their NFC East Rival the Washington Redskins. With Alex Smith out, the Redskins now turn to Colt McCoy to continue their path toward the NFC East Title. Will Dallas finally get a hold of the NFC East in a weak division or will McCoy sneak in aThanksgiving Upset?

Falcons @ Saints: The NFC Thanksgiving Edition wraps up in the city of New Orleans where the Falcons hope to slow down the Saints. Drew Brees is on his way to his first MVP Season(possibly co MVP with Mahomes?) and looks to further cement that tonight and stay in the running for the first seed with the Rams.

Jaguars @ Bills: A 2017 Playoff rematch but with home field reversed. When these teams met in January, the Jags seemed to be on a team on the rise but are in a midst of down season currently. The Bills have had multiple QBs start this season but Josh Allen will return to the starting lineup this weekend as Buffalo hopes to continue building for the future.

Browns @ Bengals: The Hue Jackson Bowl. The Bengals defense now faces another rookie QB in first overall pick Baker Mayfield after they struggled with Lamar Jackson last week. The Browns look like a whole new offense since Hue Jackson and Todd Haley were fired and could continue the onslaught on the Bengals defense. Or will Cincy get back on track in the battle of Ohio?

Patriots @ Jets: The Jets have said they wouldn't fire Todd Bowles during the season but a beat down by the Patriots at home may change their mind. Patriots vs the AFC East, what else can you say?

Giants @ Eagles: The Giants have won two games in a row and at 3-7, are 6 games away from reaching OBJ's 9-7 goal, but I don't think that will be enough to make the playoffs in a deep NFC. The Eagles meanwhile have lost two in a row and hope to get back on track after being burnt to a crisp by the Saints offense. Something has to give as the NFC Least is still winnable by anyone, and the winner of this will have a better shot late in the season.

49ers @ Buccaneers: The quarterbacks on the carousel go round and round, round and round. The quarterbacks on the carousel go round and round through Tampa. Winston is once again the starter and I imagine they may be the team to jump a QB needy team in April in order to hopefully snag a franchise QB since Winston is clearly not. The 49ers could eek out a win here and grow the legend that is Nick fricken Mullens.

Seahawks @ Panthers: These two teams have developed a conference rivalry over the years as they have met 7 times since 2011 including two playoff games where each own a respective victory over another on their home field. The Seahawks seem to be rolling, while the Panthers are reeling from two road losses in a row. Back home, Carolina looks to get back on track and stay in the Wild Card picture in order to make their upcoming games against the Saints matter.

Cardinals @ Chargers: The Chargers blew a opportunity last week in what may have been their only chance to catch the Chiefs. The Broncos upset the Chargers and now the Cardinals look to drop back to back upsets on the Chargers. Can the Chargers avoid another upset or will Josh Rosen and company have other plans that could change the AFC playoff picture?

Steelers @ Broncos: Do the Broncos have another big upset in them this week against the Steelers? The Steelers head to Denver on a roll as they look to be in the hunt for a AFC Playoff BYE. They will be without RT Marcus Gilbert & DE Stephon Tuitt for a second straight game.

Dolphins @ Colts: The Colts look to keep their momentum going as this will have key AFC Wildcard implications. At 5-5, both the Dolphins and Colts need this win for the H2H tiebreaker and Miami gets Ryan Tannehill back for this game who hasn't score more than 21 points in a month. Can Tannehill provide a boost to the Dolphins' playoff hopes?

Packers @ Vikings: To start the weekend, the Packers have placed LB Nick Perry on IR, but the good news is Kirk Cousins isn't exactly good at these primetime games. The Vikings are 0-3 in Primetime this season but the Packers have loss 7 straight road games entering this Sunday Night clash. Which team will end their winless streak first?

Titans @ Texans: The Houston Texans have won 7 straight games this season, and look to make history with a franchise best 8 game winning streak over the Titans. The Titans hope to keep their playoff aspirations alive and pull off a big road upset, something they have already done earlier in Dallas when they came into Jerry's World and beat the Cowboys.

The Bears defense is the only thing keeping them in the game. 0-0 into the second quarter and the Lions can't take advantage of a Trubisky less Bears.

Should be either Bears less Trubisky or Trubiskyless Bears.

Yes, I am in a mood today.

Eddie Jackson just reads the field so well - i loved him in that class and was amazed he dropped so low in the draft (i know he had some health worries)

he's got 5 tds in the first 2 years of his career - that's insane - are there even rookie receivers with that many tds?

He didn't finish senior year because of a broken leg. I would have spent 2nd round on him, at least.

Lions will have one last gasp after using all three timeouts but it looks like the Bears are on their way to a solid 8-3 record.
