The Good, the Bad and the Injuries - Bengals Edition

I didn't catch that, but I despise it. The guy was clearly playing through an injury to begin with. I personally felt terrible for him and was glad that we had our players check in on him after the game. There's a time and place for banter. That definitely isn't it.
totally agree with that. If it's any team that should empathize with other teams injuries it's us. Well the Chargers also, but I digress.

Marcus Williams was one of our best players and he's playing with one hand.....per PFF. Sure it's obvious he avoided a tackle with Mixon on one play and is trying not to use one of his arms much, but when he gets healthy .... next season....he will be a terror like last season at the start of the season.
He looked significantly better yesterday. Still avoiding using the arm when he can but looked less afraid to stick it in there when needed

Take all their draft picks and Ban Logan Wilson too.

Last night was basically their season and I doubt he risked worsening whatever is wrong with his wrist by playing. Their plan was probably just to pull the plug when he felt he couldn’t continue, just like they did.
Why would they risk their franchise QB?
When did the wrist injury occur? That came out of no where

Guessing it was a few, not the whole stadium. Probably started tailgating at 2:00pm.
Day drinking is a recipe for a great time

The fans definitely sounded loud on the broadcast

I think the fans wouldve been screaming “ fk joe borrow” even if he didnt get injured but idk.. is this their first time doing this?

Lamar has definitely been reading the forums and heard our complaints. He threw some nice deep balls last night

Nobody knows. Apparently there was a video the Bengals posted then deleted of Burrow getting off the team bus yesterday in a wrist brace and that is all anyone knows. The fact that he had one though seems to imply the Bengals violated league rules by not listing it on the injury report.

Yea, it’s not like they were cheering for his injury. I’m not understanding the distaste. Shit happens all the time in NFL stadiums

Exactly right. And that's where it becomes contextual. If a Bengals fan jeers one of our players walking to the tunnel for half-time, it's objectively understandable. If the same fans jeers the same player walking to the tunnel after an injury, it becomes significantly less so. Operating under the idea that we simply lack the self control not to hurdle insults at someone regardless of their obvious perils makes us children.
