Made me wonder why the Bengals were starting a clearly injured Burrow when they had a backup who could clearly do the cutdown playbook they were using and could actually move at the same time.

How bad was it? An ankle sprain means he is out for a game or so. I didn't watch it. Was it worse based on what you guys saw? It sucks to be a Jaguars fan then.

Got stepped hard on that ankle but also hyper-extended his knee over PCL. Ankle looked worse than Pickett's and he might be back only for Ravens game. But who knows....

To elaborate it just goes to show what these WRs do for him, Chase exploded for 160 yards, made a lot of great catches and plays. And so did Higgins. I’m glad he had that day and hope he continues to play well so at least some can see what Burrow gets to play with, although it should be obvious

High Ankle sprain for Trevor, Christian Kirk suffered a core muscle injury and will need surgery. That basically means Kirk is done for the year unless the Jags make a deep playoff run.
