The MVP conversation HAS to be locked up. I know that isolating head-to-head match ups isn't always the ideal measuring stick. But in back-to-back weeks, we faced three different favorites. Brock Purdy. Christian McCaffrey. Tyreek Hill. And among the collective pressure, Lamar Jackson stamped his standing with authority. Against arguably the toughest finishing schedule in the entire NFL. It obviously wasn't just him. But he's absolutely the head of the spear.

back to back weeks vs 11 wins teams is also rare. It's been done less than 5 times.
