Overwatch I have. I stopped playing Warzone and sports games (Madden and 2k) mostly because it's the same yearly shit over and over.
I miss the days that Madden and 2k used to have competition.

Exactly my point, why even bother with a PS5 Pro if you aren't going to be able to take advantage of it? At least based on the price, Sony likely won't sell a whole lot but I do expect the Nintendo Switch 2 to sell way more. That's what I'm waiting for, whatever the next Switch will be.
I would have considered trading in my PS5 and getting a PS5 Pro if the price weren't so absurd and if it came with a disc drive, but Sony milking the hell out of the price killed it for me.
It's a shame because the extra terabyte would have been great.

I know nobody's talked here in a bit but I'm into the Fallout games (evident by my PFP). Golden era CoD (MW-BO2) is amazing. I also occasionally play CFB and Rocket League as well.

Everyone hold on to your physical copies of game if you are on Playstation. Sony announced the end of physical discs starting in January 2028. This means every game will only available on the Playstation Store. So yeah... PS6 will be the first new console that is disc free.
Microsoft likely follows Playstation in this regard if they already were planning to end physical copies as well. Though if they want to win the next console war, BOX, make their new console still have discs and 100% backwards compatible to all generations of XBOX games.

No use for second-hand market? Less competition. More control over pricing. Of course there's the delisting aspect of this too.

Gamestop and every gaming store ever is going right out of business because of this. Took a while but Gamestop and others are going the way of Blockbuster when streaming killed Video rental stores.
