Next Up: Wild-Card Bye

I hope Dalvin Cook can be 80% of what Keaton was. I understand their games were totally different. But Keaton was able to provide a spark because he was dynamic. I hope a motivated Cook who's splitting time with the other 3 guys has enough left in him to provide a little spark in his opportunities.
Not sure they're going to have 4 RBs (five if you count Ricard) active on gameday. That doesn't make a lot of sense from a roster construction standpoint.
So either Cook or Gordon will be inactive.

It takes cook 2 seconds of dancing before he hits the hole. Keaton mind is already made up before he even touches the ball

They beat SF with PJ Walker, the Steelers with DTR, the Ravens with Watson with basically one arm, and the Texans with Flacco.

They've quite literally beaten four playoff teams with four different QBs. Are we super sure that Joe Flacco is a shit ton better than Davis Mills?
Yea I don’t even know who Mills is

Never understood the "Browns haven't beaten good teams" argument. They have four wins this year over playoff teams. Including beating both of the top seeds in each conference.
Yeah the browns defense is good enough to compete with most teams on most days no matter who is at qb.

I’m seeing a lot of cope around here. We’re likely to have to face the browns in these playoffs, they’re a top 4 squad in this race and they’re not likely to exit early. pucker up for it y’all because it’s gonna be a tough ass game.

They essentially benched Gordon for fumbling in a game that didn’t matter with absolute shit weather. I see no possible way they’re trusting him with the rock in the playoffs.
And I agree with all of that. Just saying Gordon's been here all year and Cook has been here a few days.
Third RB isn't getting barely any touches on gameday anyway. And I don't see Cook coming in and taking significant snaps from Edwards or Hill with 10 days of practice.

I betted on us more times this year than i ever have in total with flacco..i just hate playoffs cause its not many games to choose from in a single day lol
Who you got for Monday night?

But if injury happens and Gordon has to take snaps… they don’t want that clearly.

No fear of burning call ups at this stage either. Maybe Cook hardly plays if he does at all, but he seems to be a better insurance policy. Not like we’re dropping a STer either. Both guys are likely to be holding their helmets most of the game, but one they clearly don’t trust.

Let's not forget Gus fumbled in two consecutive games as well. Cook, 100%.

Were were just fine against that defense, twice. The fear for the Browns is nonsense, folks are just afraid of the embarrassment of Flacco beating us in Baltimore.

Right but it's not about the call ups. I don't think they'll carry 5 RBs. Think they'll prefer ST play elsewhere, rather than having a 5th RB for insurance.
Cook over Gordon makes plenty of sense, I agree. But mostly pointing out that Gordon fumbling isn't a new thing, and for the second straight year, he's on the team.

It's not a both situation - it's one or the other. If they don't trust Gordon, he's inactive. Cook gets a call up and is active. If you need a 53 man spot at some point, Gordon is a logical candidate. Same with a guy like Treadwell and maybe a couple of others.

Week 18 said what it needed to say on Gordon though. If they bench a guy in a game like that, he's not long for playing time.

Also, this is Gordon's first year here and he's hardly played any snaps sans the Indy game when Justice was hurt.
