I’m not swimming in the harbor. lol But I swim in the Patuxent River and areas of the Bay.

I’ll swim in parts of the bay, but I won’t swim in any of the rivers or creeks branching off. Too much industrial waste in the area, too much sewage, and the creeks/rivers are far too stagnant for my liking.

Yeah, around the city is a no go, but I doubt you get sick if you fall in the Harbor. It's definitely improved.

For a lot of years I boat, ski, tube, swim in the lower Patuxent, there is nothing stagnant about the river. lol When the tide is moving you always have a line thrown off the boat cuz your not going anywhere swimming against the current.
