The 2024 Offseason Thread

We’re gonna fuck the Chargers up just like we did last season

i think there's only really 3 options for the chiefs home opener depending partly on how the nfl views them...

ravens (AFC rematch)
bengals (only AFC QB to beat mahomes in the playoffs)
texans (upstart on the rise who could put on a surprise to open the year like the lions last year)

wildcard would be the chargers

think the bengals might not be risked in case burrow's not ready

does feel like we really are the most likely option

Personally, I WANT the Chiefs week 1. Get the toughest road game out of the way and it can be a quick benchmark on how we stack up to them.
 
As we get closer to Wednesday and the Schedule Release, "leaks" will likely start to come out Monday and Tuesday. Do not fall for any of those fake schedule leaks that pop up every year around the time the NFL schedule is about to be released. Here's a perfect example.....



On paper that sounds like a good game but would be impossible as the Bengals do not play the Packers this year. The AFC North plays the NFC East and the AFC West, this account could be right that a Bengals-Packers Black Friday Game could happen.... in 2025 when the AFC North & NFC North play each other. Also, please do not post any leaks unless it is confirmed by actual reporters.

I'm excited to see who are week one opponent is, if we play at home then I can't wait to see who the first victim that will be Stiff Armed right into the Inner Harbor. I just want Henry to turn Patrick Queen and Geno Stone into blockers for him the way he did Earl Thomas, would be amazing lol.
