Harbaugh did respond weirdly to the question during the end of season press conference. While I don't think it happens, I wouldn't be surprised if he did decide to retire at the end of this year.

Sounds like it isn't done yet but it's basically a formality.

I've also heard that when Harbaugh wants to call it quits, he may just end up joining the FO, so I'm sure the contract would toll into whatever role that would be.

They just wanna announce the Monken news first. Give us the good news, before hitting us with the bad news.

They know the Flock gonna cheer the Monken extension and Boo the Harbaugh extension. PR damage control lol

Things we should never do in the Harbaugh-coached era because it'll just lead to a bigger heartbreak:

1. Get a really big lead early into the game.

2. Win convincingly against a playoff team in the regular season.
 
He should have been gone, when Kubiak left, but definitely when Lamar got the nod and more f@$%ing definitely after they resigned Lamar. Coach is holding us back.
