Yeah I want to keep those comps and not play to much with fire with the future cap. That said Earl's deal looks pretty frontloaded.ok im happy - this move makes me fine if we literally add nothing else and just fly with the young guys on defence

I would be very surprised if someone doesn't grab Maxx Williams for an average deal just because he had a nice year and was a solid if unspectacular blocker.
If we want to compete this season, get Earl Thomas, Ingram and M. Golden.
I was hoping we'd use our cap space this year to absorb a lot it...
OK DeCosta, now Golden and we're good.
haha - im good already
Here's what our Ravens secondary looks like so far:
FS: Earl Thomas
SS: Tony Jefferson
CB: Marlon Humphrey
CB: Jimmy Smith
CB: Brandon Carr
CB: Tavon Young

I'm still worried about theOLine, but the defense is now better than last year and the offense is about same at the moment (which is bad).
i dont think OL is something we were ever gonna be able to fix in free agency - that's why im not really concerned by it
here's Brian Mcfarland confirming what i posted earlier:

basically we're currently down to 2 comp picks: a 3 and a 4, but because ingram's deal cancels sizzle because we've netted no other free agent losses if anyone else signs with another team like williams, rgiii or urban then we net a 3 for sizzle because ingram's deal would cancel down even if those guys dont qualify in the top 32 free agent losses
Maybe net a 3rd comp pick.You mean net a 4?
