Another thing is I lost a lot of respect for most of these celebrities. I don't care whether you voted for Trump or Clinton last year. We don't care about your political opinions at all. I'm talking about you too Greg Poppovich, sick of your rants. I mean stick to acting and sports and they should keep their politics out of it.

i mean tbh ive never had a problem with this - why does their status as a celebrity stop them from being able to publicly express an opinion - if there's a political/societal issue that they believe in strongly then they may feel like its important for them not to waste the privilege of their platform by staying quiet - i also dont get this idea that politics should be a taboo subject in sports or acting etc. it's a topic of conversation that affects literally everone so i never really understand why people shouldnt talk about it

I just watch sports to escape that crap. Anyways Ross I love you bro and like I said I could be a liberal or conservative but I keep that under wraps.Your a great guy and I love our friendship so far.

icebergs melting is actually interesting because they dont actually affect the sea level when they melt because when they float they still displace the same amount of water - we dont want for example the arctic to melt because it would affect the climate in multiple other ways but technically the arctic melting wouldnt affect sea levels because it's already displacing the same amount of water...
Yes I heard that on tour in Alaska as well, just don’t want to see those glaciers go away.

Even my Landlord last year though asked me "Who you voting for." I told him none of your business and he says well I need to know so we stay friends. I mean that's how nuts politics is nowadays.

I do think it's almost the same as talking politics at work. If you do you should be warned or suspended. If it keeps going then a firing should be warranted. They are at work whether it's being an athlete or acting.

ive never had a problem talking politics at work either - that's my point - everywhere ive worked politics has always been topical and people talk about it - people talk about all sorts of things while working, i dont really understand why politics is necessarily taboo at work

I know my Dads friend who was a supervisor suspended one of his employees for talking crap about Bush in a company email. At my workplace we hush it down when any supervisor walks by.

The dc and Baltimore cooridor it’s hard to escape politics since our local news is everyone’s national news. You can’t run and hide.

Wow, not so sure this is actually legal. It is freedom of speech.

i get that that's normal that people are expected to not talk about it at work - im just kinda wondering why that is...

You guys think Trump will be reelected or no? Personally for me I don't think so but I didn't think he had a shot last year.
