ah you see but i didnt say all conservatives...
i think its sad that people are so stuck in their echo chambers that they cant even fathom that the "other side" might be right once in a blue moon (or more often) - and i think that's the case on both sides - i personally dont agree with most (or nearly all) conservative policies but its not because of media...

there are so many unresearched false narratives that get tossed around - as a liberal myself one of the most frustrating things is seeing liberals go after conservatives with crappy arguments or insults because it gives ammunition for those conservatives to throw those insults back in all of our faces and ignore the valid points that were made

it's what disappoints me most about the conservatives on both sides of the pond - they are much better at manipulating the narrative when the other side goes wrong - they're much more cutthroat and i think liberals need to be better prepared to deal with it

I got what you said. Leftists do things to embarrass their cause. And it drowns out the good Points. As middle of the road I can tell you leftists attack and twist words and narratives far more often. I do lean right. But I don’t agree with everything.

Sorry about this - I realise I’m probably getting boring at this point (if I wasn’t already) but I’m now seeing claims that Nunes has altered the memo from the one that was voted on - essentially he’s changed it - maybe it’s true maybe it’s not but given the other things I’ve seen written about other maneouvres it would certainly seem on form for Nunes to again somehow attempt to circumvent legality

He admitted he made some grammatical changes only, but he should have left it alone. I have to admit it is interesting that the FBI is saying that the memo is being released without knowing all the facts of the FISA warrants so that not cool. However the FBI is not saying they did not get FISA warrants and put surveillance on Trump before the election. I am interested if that included wire taps. I don’t want to be a conspiracy theory guy but did powerful people set him up and got Russians to go meet with him to entrap him? I don’t know anymore what to think. I don’t trust anything. It seems like the other side pushed this Russian narrative the second he was elected to delegitimize his election. To be honest, I am kind of over it and I am ready to move on, as I have no control over any of this and I have a life to live. If impeachment happens down the road then I guess Pence will be our President.

i mean i dont understand how the "decoding" is being done but i dont think ive ever trusted one word that came from anywhere even associated with info wars let alone info wars itself... i wouldnt say they are a paragon of facts...

well Trump has approved release of the nunes memo as expected - i expect some rampant hot takes from the right wing media once released and the left wing media ignoring most of what's written in it and waiting to report on whatever the "material underlying evidence" that is supposedly missing from the memo to be leaked...

i know i shouldnt be surprised or outraged but i can see exactly how this story goes...
this is all about who gets in the bigger hit - the GOP will be punching first with the memo release and i fully expect the DNC to hit back with "context" and then it'll be a mess for weeks with no one's point of view significantly changing

despite being a liberal i kind of want the underlying evidence to be bullshit just so we can break this predictable cycle... albeit if this is the issue to break the cycle then im not sure where the FBI stands as an organisation after this... and if the cycle is broken Trump, despite everything, likely has more power available to him in his government than any US government in recent history - certainly the ones i can think of off the top of my head

it's readable - just google it - as far as i can tell its not as bad as i thought it was gonna be - basically its coverfire for trump to try and fire rosenstein but tbh, ill admit im not sure i understand it, but i think this one might backfire a bit - it was pumped up as something incendiary and destructive and it doesnt seem that way at all from what i can tell (of course im not authority) - to me it really smacks a little bit of desperation from trump - it suggests to me significantly that trump is a little scared of the investigation into him more than anything...

but then again ill readily admit i have no idea really what im reading...

I agree with you, I just read it and it may be coverfire to fire Rosenstien. I also think this memo may end up backfiring on the Republicans.

ive seen some analysis of the language and the way the memo moves through points and allegations and at most they are insinuating things by making some leaps of logic that dont necessarily scan and it makes you wonder what's missing - this memo release really makes Nunes look like an absolute idiot

there was a time 2-3 days ago where i was worried about this memo but this is laughable - all this buildup for something that is more self-harming than harmful for the democrats at this point

it's so useless and unworthy that it's almost not worth the other facts being "leaked"...
