The Good, the Bad..... and the

If this isn't a prime example of moving the goal post to fit their agenda, I don't know what is. I still hold the Chargers to a high regard, but I thought folks were saying this was the most complete team in the AFC. Which one is it (not at you by the way)?

Not gonna lie, from the first angle I thought Benjamin came away with the TD before the refs made the signal as my heart was going to fade into oblivion. After the replay, I'm like "Welp, never mind." What a treasure Marlon has been this entire season. Hats off to him.

I was the exact same dude - that broadcast angle was not good for the heart or soul

This shit shouldn't have been as close as it was scoreboard wise. Gotta come away with 7's at least 75% of the time on those redzone possessions.

Yeah improvements still needed for sure
But I’m just buzzing over our first win over a playoff team who aren’t the steelers in yonks

The other thing about Lamar spreading it around today was that I don’t think Willie Snead got a single target and that’s his favourite target

Chargers took the run away from him the 2nd half and his favourite receiver away from him the whole game and he still beat em

And it would have looked even more like a beating if Crabtree caught those 2 balls that basically between them erased 7 points + lamar’s mesh fumble (which really needs to stop - I can live with the occasional sack fumble because rushers are good at football - but these mesh fumbles are unforced errors and one today cost us 3 points by forcing tucker back 10 yards)

Yeah I’m not sure how much money ZDS gets and he may be unfortunate that there’s potentially some good edge rushers hitting free agency (and he’s not a traditional type edge rusher)

It may be a case that if we keep him we get ok value which I’d be fine with
Or if he goes we might be underwhelmed by the comp pick we get because his contract might not be as big as he hopes it will be
not so sure we get many comp picks next year if any due to free agency and cap availability, unless the best players will be cap cuts.

Fewer interceptible balls too - he’s got away with a few in previous game but he had only 1 that might have been picked in this game that I can remember and it was one where he was hit as he threw and John brown ended up with a chance but kinda had to play defence

That’s a big improvement

Other big improvements:
- He found the check down when nothing else was open
- He hit the big gainer
- He won when the run was taken away from him
- He spread the ball around to more receivers in previous games (8 different guys had a reception)

Will be interested in @Edgar analysing this one because of some reads Jackson might have missed in the game (particularly a third down in the first half iirc that I didn’t notice live)

Fun little note on Jackson to finish - his highest passer rating of the year and it was over 100 despite going 55% completion percentage
would also like to see some analysis from @Edgar regarding Bozeman when Hurst went down.

Harbaugh getting an extension........ GOOD!

I didn’t want him back earlier in the season, but it’s just so hard not to like the guy. I just wish he wasn’t so loyal to his coordinators.

Dammit harbs literally always pulls me back in - this is awesome

The problems most have are his loyalty, refusal to play rooks and challenge management, but not many think hes awful. I'll give him this. I've never seen the team quit on him.. played bad but never quit and there's something to be said for that even if I dont like him that much. Think it was more of a team needing a new voice.

*clears throat*
"Mark Andrews is too slow to separate. He will never be successful at the NFL level...."

Yeah. Dumb criticism then, even dumber criticsim now. We ever get a real OC who can properly use both TEs, and we get a real C to play in front of Lamar have fun stopping this team, you just won't.

Only got to watch about 1 quarter total of the game during a layover. Shitty plane wifi. Pretty pissed. Hyped we won tho. Saw the Tavon TD and went insane.

What did peanut do that he’s getting praised so much? Why’s dixon in the doghouse?

Peanut forced the fumble that Tavon returned and he got two big sacks against Rivers.

Damn man, you chose wrong one to miss. Don't you, as a future flight controller, have some pull to get a proper wifi in?

Dixon had a crucial fumble.

Peanut was a monster today

We all know what this means. When we play the Browns next week @DeVito52 needs to be on a plane....

I'll buy your ticket.. You're going to Bismarck, ND......

Sorry man, couldn't find anything interesting for you
