2018 Secondary

He is playing well. But there are so many up and coming cornerbacks!! These last 2 drafts were deepest ever for the position. I do not like the Humph pick for that very reason. Ravens have needs and coulda traded down and picked up a tandem of cornerbacks. And traded up for a real difference maker in Lattimore. But as good as he is the draft was to deep to take a cornerback. With so many cornerbacks with skills Several picked after Humph are likely to outplay him cuz it is so many really good cornerbacks in this particular draft.

lattimore is a stud. Dude basically turned the whole saints defense around. we probably wont come that close to selecting a ramsey or lattimore type player again.

Lattimore wasn’t picked after him. Sledge said many cb picked after him are likely to outplay him. We just want his opinion, without generically saying it.

No question Lattimore is a stud. Everyone new that, but Ozzie (thank god) wasn’t willing to trade a 2018 1st round pick to move up and get him.

I heard he was trying to trade a third...? Or the Saints wanted a third. Can't remember.

You're right; it was a second.

But my point was and still is that you can't just assume a trade will require a future first because we're moving close to the top 10.

Kevin King, Rasul Douglas, Shaq Griffin to name a couple. That's not considering all the young cornerbacks being groomed behind veterans.

Reshard Robinson is 1000 times more skilled than Humph!! If he can walk a straight line he is as skilled as ANY cornerback in the league!!!!!! Including Lattimore and Ramsey. With that said I'm not really sure about all of his drama away from the game??

He looked like an all pro in several games then suddenly looked unfocused. Then played a couple bad games. I know there's not a chance in hell a team would trade such a gifted player for a couple bad games. Especially one that played like 6 college games yet looked so natural and polished.

I agree it all hangs on who is there. Jordan was one of better edge rushers. But he came with questions. He wasn't the sure fire stud like some of the edge rushers like Clowney and Mack. Clearly those dudes would cost more to trade up for.

Ramsey is already a top 3 cb in his 2nd year in nfl. Watched him his whole college career. I always felt like he wouldve brung the personality we need in bmore. Almost had him but ozzie didnt wanna give up that 3rd
