Problem is Jimmy may be out 9-12 months... Which means he may not even be ready by the beginning of the season and will likely need 4-5 games to get back into form. This team may need to invest in another cornerback..

That’s possible as well, but I think he’ll be back for preseason, Achilles has been a smaller insition the last 5 yrs or so making it easier to recover.

I think he'll be back but even if he is, there's no telling what injury is going to bite him next. I just don't think you can depend on him anymore. I think Marlon is his replacement but I think you need to find someone who can fill in that #2 CB spot alongside of him because I just don't know about Jimmy's ability to play a full season anymore.

(it was interesting to see some of the things they did with canady with them dropping him onto the back end to help bracket with carr - he's a versatile piece on the backend who might allow us to do some different things lined up close to the line of scrimmage either in the slot or as a pseudo-safety)

i guess thats one. We've never ever drafted an LSU guy though, which is pretty bad, taking into account they have had the best success rate in this league for the past 14 years

I havent seen many good cbs yet. That guy out of ohio state is not as good as advertised .

Carlton is the big physical press corner of the bunch. Has been matched up against the best recievers in college (mike williams, Deon Cain, Ridley) and held his own
