2018 Secondary

i like canady but stats like that often make players seem better than what they really are
I could agree if it was another stat but in reality I feel like Canady hasn't allowed any sort of big gain. All he's really given is 5-6 yards receptions (mostly on 3rd and long) (I don't count the reception to Decker where Peanut collided with him). I won't say he's lockdown but his play has been absolutely satisfying.

I know I’ve said this before and people have disagreed but I don’t see how canady doesn’t walk into next offseason as the starter - for me as much as a I love tavon he’s gonna have to win his way back into the starter spot or hope that canady wins snaps on the outside - I don’t see how with how well canady has played that he doesn’t get first crack at the starter job going into training camp (this of course might be affected by whether jimmy smith is able to practice and whether we keep Carr - I can definitely foresee a situation where Humphrey and canady start outside with tavon in the slot to begin the year)

Tavon is much better than canady tbh. only problem tavon could have is if the injury slowed him down. Tavon was kind of thrown into fire and reacted very well. I can see tavon being moved around alot though which im fine with. I just want him on the field.

What do you think of Willie Henry?
Good player. But he’s just one guy. I actually agree with the notion that another interior rusher would’ve been useful this season.

I like Henry though. Clearly has a future here. Just wish that Jernigan was here too. Would’ve been useful when Bwill went down to have another run defender who can bring the heat.

They play the same role. That's why I was asking

Yeah can't really argue with what he's doing out there. It's pretty clear why the coaches were raving about him in training camp before he got injured.

Question is what the hell do you do with him once you get Tavon back.

I like Henry better the Jernigan and he clearly gives more effort. Jernigan took a lot of plays off. I had no issues with the trade at all.
Agree that Henry seems to be a better game to game player. Jernigan might be a better talent but he was a bit too feast or famine at times.
