Next Up: Vs Chargers Wild Card Round

"Josh Rosen can throw".
It's pretty laughable to me now, don't get upset any longer.
Give Rosen an actual offensive line and a competent OC and he's going to pull a Jared Goff year two. There are moments this year he's been good. He's a rookie FFS. Too early to give up on him even if he had a bad year. That oline was so bad that not even David Johnson could save him

Im a big lamar fan but im not gonna ignore the fact that he cant throw.. yes he makes some good throws every so often but his accuracy has been inconsistent and for that, he cant throw

o okay.. yall taking the “ cant throw” literally lmao.. its a FACT that he isnt accurate right now at all. Anyone that thinks otherwise, is simply just being biased
I mean.....my man, you literally said he can't throw LMAO. OF COURSE he has accuracy issues that we hope he addresses in the offseason, but it's not like he's Tebow.

Nobody is thinking otherwise, that's the hole point. He is inaccurate rookie with a pretty decent arm - 9000 yards and 90 TDs in college don't lie. He'll get better.

What's important is that the combination of his running and throwing abilities were good enough to get the Ravens to the playoffs. It wasn't only run.

right but you're criticising lamar for his completion percentage which has a lot of variables attached to it and using that to criticise him yet...

Lamar Jackson has a better completion percentage than Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold and Josh Allen

the only rookie qb with a better completion percentage than him is baker

yes that completion percentage would still make lamar the 4th worst qualifying qb in the league at that stat but id like to point out (and this is just to play devils advocate and demonstrate the uselessness of the stat for accuracy not to actually beat joe with it) that joe would be 6th worst only just ahead of blake bortles

David Johnson might have if he had enough running plays called.

he is a qb and has been his whole life.. he plays qb for us and we all see him throw everygame lol.

Yeah. The criticisms of Rosen are just unfair at this point. You have David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald, and that's great. One's a first ballot hall of famer, and Johnson is a top 5 RB in this league.... But then you have a terrible OC, HC, and a historically bad oline. That's a recipie for disaster for getting your rookie QB killed. And per the tape Rosen has had his moments where he has looked like absolute MONEY this season when throwing. The tools are there, they just need to give him a line, and a new HC.

I swear i dont even know what his completion percentage is right now lol.. im going off simply from what i see.

Well we should be thankful for this game we have Weddle becasue he knows RIvers quite well. Big advantage for us.

Weddle, however, has lost more then a few steps and I doubt he will be back next year.

Zero picks in the regular season for a free safety is all you need to know. Unacceptable.

Yes, it’s a recipe for disaster for getting your rookie QB killed. And that’s why I said over and over that they shouldn’t start Rosen this year. But I do recall numerous people on here disagreeing with that, wanting him to start. Looks like I was right again...

But you say he can’t throw “at all”. That’s unfair. He makes some great throws and makes some bad throws. Doesn’t mean he can’t throw “at all”.

If Lamar can’t throw at all then I guess baker can’t throw at all either because doesn’t Baker have multiple 3 interception games...? Lamar doesn’t have that lol. If Lamar doesn’t get any leeway than no one else does either.

I mean, it's good to get the guy experience and all but if he tore his ACL this year then your future might be fucked.

He was ready to start, but they should've waited awhile. Not like they would've won those games with Bradford

I can also post atleast 4vids if i tried that will show lamar throwing the ball to the dirt or him completely just fucking up throw lol

Yeah, he clearly has accuracy issues, but the fact that he can already make throws like the one to Andrews means that he's more than capable as a passer. Give him the off-season to work on his throwing and I think you'll see a much more consistent Lamar next year.

They weren’t winning those games with anyone, which is why I would’ve sat Rosen.

I still don't like Rosen much. Combination of a tiny frame and attitude puts me off.

I'm sure you can. The most alarmingly bad throws I can think of happened in the first couple games. In recent games, he's thrown a little behind on a couple occasions and does seem to periodically try to put to much of a soft touch on the ball and comes up a little short. So, I think he is improving game to game and - I know it is hard to imagine - but the 21 year old rookie has a number of things that he needs to work on.

I guess I'm not sure where you are going with this - other than try to fire people up who are pretty fucking happy that his being moved into the starting role saved this team's season. Do you think none of this is fixable? If so, don't call yourself a big fan of his - just say he has no chance to amount to anything, tell all of us fools to enjoy the little run now because he's going to crash and burn and we'll be searching for a new QB next off season.
