The Refs, the OL, and the Coaching

Jordan Stout is not the punter I thought he would be. I’ve seen enough over several years and too many shanked punts to realize we need a new punter.

What a waste of a draft pick.
Fooled us all with his beautiful hair

The fact this man has barely been able to finish drop backs should be concerning. Or the fact they were in the backfield damn near immediately after the handoff. And i think this line is impacting our ST

I'm not going to get too bent out of shape over Stout's shank. He had a good game last week and was doing well until that punt.

He's not Johnny Hecker in his prime or anything, but you could do a lot worse.

The fact the Raiders rushed TWO PLAYERS... TWO PLAYERS and not even Crosby on that last play and they were already in Lamar's face says it all.

I ain’t gonna hold you dog…we have a lot of issues on this team and it’s not our 2x MVP bc he “cant” make a throw like the guy who’s on pace to become the greatest of all time at his position.
It wasn't a GOAT throw, but it was a throw you have to make consistently to get where you want to go.

Lamar misses that throw Mahomes just made
Sorry this is just a rant and not targeted at you lol
I don’t think anyone has argued Lamar is a better passer than Mahomes. Flip side, Lamar does so much with his scrambling and rushing ability that Pat can’t do. You really think Patrick would be just as good here without arguably the best offensive play caller ever? With Roman who had the two receiving options on the same play end up in the same area of the field.

I think the only other QB that has success in a situation like Baltimore is Josh Allen. I think people quickly forget how bad Flacco (granted it’s Flacco) and how bad the Ravens historically have been at offensive scheming. I think the real question since 2010 (all time great players included) have been saying John Harbaugh holds the team back.

It’s 2024, special teams are basically non-existent plays even with the recent kick off returns this year. What does Harbaugh bring offensively, defensively, or anywhere at this point. He’s wasted how many time outs and challenges just over the last 2 games.

Do you really think a Spags defense would allow Gardner Minshew to climb back into a game down 10 in the 4th quarter? Do you see Andy Reid challenging two useless plays that everyone in the bank can see was a bad challenge on the big board?

Yes Lamar won’t be a Burrow or a Mahomes but he doesn’t have to be. There’s a reason he dropped weight is because he doesn’t trust his options down the field even after a MVP year where he threw over 67% and a 102 QBR. Nothing is schemed easy.

I don’t understand after that Raiders game how Lamr is a talking point. He had a near flawless game. His downfield shots this game were pretty accurate too, which usually are more accurate when he’s not running the ball 20 times like he did against the Chiefs.

This message is too long for anyone to probably read but why is Harbaugh still around. He gives 0 advantage to either side of the ball, 2nd oldest HC who can’t adjust when needed, and you FEEL the games entering the 3rd and 4th which leads will slip away. It’s been a feeling since he’s been in the league.

It’s a sloppy team. Tucker is 1-8 (I think) outside of 50. Orr’s defense looks 1/10 of what MacDonald’s defense was. Where is Hamilton at all? Where is Roquan?

It’s irritating living in the Mahomes era, but just remember the last AFC team to win a superbowl before Mahomes was Brady. all credit goes to Mahomes, which I’m not taking away he is a top 5 QB OAT, but having Andy Reid and Spags makes it WAY easier. And we have Lamar running for his god damn life every play.

On the topic of Reid, one of his biggest criticisms historically was piss poor clock management and poor timeout usage.

He was Harabaugh's coach, so apples and trees and all that.

If yall need a silver lining I won big on my prop bet.
Anytime TD Derrick Henry + 75 yards rushing Derrick Henry + 50 yards receiving Zay Flowers…. Also fire Harbs

All I can say is be careful what you wish for. Even with mediocre OCs, Lamar’s first half season in an offense that didn’t help him, and all the injured games Lamar has left early and the years with massive team injuries.
