I also am not sleeping on their special teams. Their punt returner can be dangerous. And for the love of God, JT, please get your shit together.

There's something I truly can't wrap my head around.

On defense, your goal is to stop the run so that you force teams to become pass happy and then you make them predicable and let your pass rush hunt. Weirdly, that's exactly what we've been able to do, particularly against the Raiders. And even weirder, our pass rush has been really good. Even weirder we have a stacked group of men in the secondary.

How in the world are we playing so poorly with an active pass rush and stacked secondary when we've put the opposing offense in a severely disadvantaged position???

I'm not rewatching the games so idk and speaking totally out of my ass. But when I've watched some all 22 film YT channel he's implied pretty heavily that Orr has made a tone of overly aggressive decisions which with 20 20 hindsight look boneheaded.

It may be that Orr has been putting too much trust in the players because they are so good and what he ought do is schematically just make their jobs easier even if it means bending a little bit more.

Chris Collier gets the nod over John Kelly as RB3 this week. Guessing those poor return decisions prevented him from getting that final call up for now.

Got curious about a timetable for a Keaton return. Sounds like maybe late October(?).

because our breakdowns have been over the middle in zones behind some aggressive playcalls

it's LB and safety areas being undermanned because of playcalls and some communication stuff
