The Gameplan, the Identity, and Nate Wiggins’ Hands

Other from that sack by Spector, I don't recall the OL giving up any pressures throughout the game. I simply don't see how RR is NOT the full-time starter. He's done everything right so far minus the sack given up by Chris Jones (no shame in that).

spector sack wasnt even really a pressure - was more of a coverage sack
the only pressure really in the game was the near-sack/intentional grounding later in the game

The competition is obviously a bit lower than the previous few weeks but fuck yeah Nate
This is why we continue drafting first round DBs even though the fans always wants receivers and edge rushers(and this year OL), because the elite prospects just keep on falling to us.

It gets bitched about every year by 90% of the fanbase, but that 90% never seems to remember 2014-2017. You NEED corners and safeties in this league, and high end corners come and go quickly. You could have an elite cb room one year and the next year have a cb room that loses games and ends your season early, one guy hits FA, another guy gets injured, and boom you can’t compete for a year and spend the next 2 years trying to fix it.

Take the elite prospects that fall to you, just so happens that the elite prospects that fall to us every other year are DBs, which is a group that is top 5 in positional value anyway. There’s qb which we have, then there’s OL, edge, wr, and cb, so in our case it’s a top 4 positional value. If Wiggins isn’t out there Sunday night then a bills comeback would have certainly been in the cards. If he never got in an accident we’re very possibly sitting 3-1 because that raiders comeback becomes far less likely.

DL high positional value (but normally low on high quality prospects)

This pic reminds me of a bunch of little leaguers trying but failing to bring down the king of the league. On a side note, take a look at the exasperation of the Bills fan dressed up in a dunce Bills jacket.
I'm not sure what is worse. The awful Bills jacket or the orange hat??? of the guy sitting down watching the play.

it's not that we continue drafting 1st round CB. I mean Jimmy was 2011, Humphrey was 2017 and Wiggins was 2024. Now if you are throwing in Hamilton into that mix, I stand corrected. Hamilton's more than elite...he's a stud and arguably the best safety in the league that can play all over the place. It would have been down right criminal not taking him when he was sitting there at 14.

Db. We got Hamilton a few years earlier and plenty of people bitched about taking a safety

I don't disagree. And it's possible if he's healthy and has that Raiders game experience and practice experience instead of being run off the road by an 18 wheeler, he may have been even better on Lamb.

He was very good against KC and Buffalo. Seems like there is a very good chance he becomes what we thought he would.

Hit the juggs and keep stacking.

I barley even looked at him cause i thought it was no way he would fall.. i was just mainly watching dax hill and thought he was pretty nice.. loved adarius washington though… was he even in that class?

Nah ,Adarius Washington was apart of the 2021 draft called which was just a year prior the draft class Kyle Hamilton and Dax Hill was apart of.

CB is literally the hardest position to play after QB. People were too hard on him. He’s going to have his ups and downs. Marlon Humphrey and Jimmy Smith had their welcome to the NFL moments when they were rookies.
