It shows lack of discipline to me. Guys vacating their zones far too easily. Mentally struggling.

It’s consistently happening in zone coverages and it’s been a range of different culprits too

Guys that had no issues last year - that’s the concerning part of it

Marlo and Hamilton look great, Stephens has mostly been great (I was wrong about the play today where I thought he vacated, it was ardarius), but the other DBs have been wildly inconsistent or late in zone coverages this year

Exactly. Even extends to the LBs too. I feel like we’re seeing less of our OLBs dropping into coverage in that short to intermediate range and I wonder if that’s putting more pressure on the DBs. Just a shot in the dark because it feels unexplainable right now.

Away from the D for a second, watching Daniel Faalele in the second level is hilarious. He somehow manages to not get his hands on dudes consistently but he’s so big that they shy away from contact or try to take a bad angle to avoid him… and it works for us.

That block from Lamar for Henry took me out of my chair lol
I was waiting for the ref to call holding on Lamar lol. Every time we had a positive play, I was holding my breath waiting for a holding penalty to negate it. These primetime games these last couple weeks, the refs have been just atrocious with the flags. Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football or Sunday Night Football, refs have gone insane with penalties this year in primetime games.

I know people are going to blame Orr, and he’s not innocent, but if I see another god damn zone play where 3 guys all make their reads to the same guy, I’m going to lose my shit. We just cannot get our zone responsibilities right and teams keep exploiting it as they should.
Man, it’s killing us. Orr can’t dial up a pressure package for shit, that’s his issue as far as I see, but I don’t what the fuck our safeties are doing. They are playing all time bad. The amount of blown coverages is just insane. I feel like the last time I saw this was Kendrick Lewis Matt Elam days

1. Lamar Jackson is the best Quarterback in Football, RIGHT NOW. I'm not talking about dual threat QB, he's playing the Quarterback position better then ANYONE in the league right now. He's making the right reads, going through his progression, making pinpoint accurate throws, being efficient, beat blitz, zone, man, really anything a defense throws him. He said a week ago the game has slowed down for him and CLEARLY it's showing. This is the type of player the Ravens envisioned when they drafted him. I honestly am in awe of what I'm seeing. He's going to go down as an All Time Great QB.
2. We got a stud receiver core and for the first time in forever, it feels like we got a unit out there. There's so many options to choose from and I honestly thin and call me crazy, this is the best receiving core in the league, WR, TE and RBs included. So many pass catchers on this team.
3. Rashod Bateman is making me eat crow and I'm happy to admit it. Betting on Bateman was a genius move that has paid off and is now one of the best value deals in the league. He is blossoming right now.
4. Mark Andrews is starting to heat up and I'm happy to see if. I'm still not sure if its the same Mark Andrews from 2019-2022, but either way, he's starting to get in a groove, really would love to see him continue to make plays.
5. I'm not really all that hyped with the defense performance. Still seeing big plays, miscommunications, and honestly not making plays on the ball. Humphrey had a great game but now there's a chance that they're going to be without him for some time, luckily the schedule falls into our favor with two pretty mediocre offenses.

Stupid ass backwards pass notwithstanding, Lamar was essentially flawless tonight. Bateman was absolutely fantastic. Shout out to Andrews for breaking the record. For the 3rd game, Henry will not be denied despite being held in check for the majority of the game. It's just absurd at this point.

Defensively. LMAOOOOO, where do I even begin? Washington needs to make that INT. That's 8 points off the board for TB. Yet again, more breakdowns in the backend. I'm legit tired of ranting about this defense. Inexcusable to be THIS piss poor. Either Orr makes us respectable towards the 2nd half of the season or he can be gone too.

Bowles is a special kind of dumbass for not knowing the rules of the kickoff. Cost his offense Godwin as a result. @Davesta , you beat me to the punch. It reminds me of the Dolphins game last season where Chubb was inexplicably still in the game despite it be WAYYY out of reach.
