It seems people are reaching for an excuse when the reality is that he was not playing well at all and the tape reflected that.he was already not getting practice reps on wednesday apparently which is well before he said this

we'll know in 2 the next 2 weeks if EDC and the coaching staff think this defence is fixable with a deadline move or if it's too fundamentally broken to fix in-season
Reading comprehension is so bad. I said I remembered AN example vividly. And the one I did remember was right. I didn't even imply that there werent others. I used words like mostly, where mostly is true. They were more towards the beginning of the year compared to the end.
Anyway, whatever guy. For the sake of being done, you're right.
That being saidI think you've got some issues you should work out. And don't waste your time on me.
ThisA lot of you need to come to terms that there most likely isn't a miracle trade coming.
We're going to have to hope the team can fix this internally... lol
Yeah I mean, we're at the point where any trade addition isn't going to fix it all by himself. There are deeper rooted problems. We can absolutely improve a position with a trade, but until they figure out what ails them now, that impact is likely to be smaller than we all want.A lot of you need to come to terms that there most likely isn't a miracle trade coming.

I hope we'll make a competitive offer or twoA lot of you need to come to terms that there most likely isn't a miracle trade coming.

Yes its hard to see it any other way. Yesterday was not about coaching. In fairness to Orr, it wasn't his fault that they dropped 4 interceptions yesterday. Instead of scoring 29 points, maybe they only score 14 if we had defensive backs who can catch a damn football. As much as this league favors offense and passing, you just can't miss opportunities when you get them. Yesterday was 100% on the players, not Orr or Monken.
Nah I disagree. You can’t have a backup QB go for 334 and 3 touchdowns when their WR room is Cedric Tillman, Elijah Moore, and Jerry Jeudy. I understand the Minshew game more than I understand this game. Brock Bowers, Jakobi Meyers and Davante sure. I would understand if the defense didn’t allow 250 yards, and the team found a way to lose, but this defense makes it too easy.In fairness to Orr, it wasn't his fault that they dropped 4 interceptions yesterday. So Free safety or Pass rusher? We aint getting both.Yeah I mean, we're at the point where any trade addition isn't going to fix it all by himself. There are deeper rooted problems. Except calling him a backup is insulting. He is objectively better than their starter. Also this is why I was worried about this game all week. How many times in the past 2 years have we seen a backup come in and the offense look explosive for a couple games? By my count it is 6 so it is clearly a fairly common occurrence. It is more common when the QB being replaced is not playing like a top 75 QB.Nah I disagree. Monken had a solid game outside of the dumb 4th down call. I think he’s a solid coordinator. We just can’t take the ball out of Lamar’s hands. It made sense in Tennessee when Tannehill was the QB, but you have a quarterback in the MVP race.
Don’t get it twisted, I’m not saying the defensive players aren’t at fault, they definitely are. But we can’t overlook how bad the Orr experiment has been and will continue to be.Nah I disagree. Add in the missing 4 players and there wasn't much room for those errors. Frustrating...In fairness to Orr, it wasn't his fault that they dropped 4 interceptions yesterday. I dnt think clowney will help at all.. his best year of career was with us last year… the reason for that is now with the seahawksWell free safety help is desperately needed. Ill take Clowney back too.
It was different last year when Watson diced up the #1 defense and it was an outlier. Giving up 365 yards a game and over 26 points per game is a trend. If Lamar doesn’t score 30 the team doesn’t win, if the defense doesn’t get a turnover the opposing team scores 30.Except calling him a backup is insulting.
