Essentially my best friend Bengal fan texted me after the AFCCG loss this, if Lamar just took off and ran you’d probably win a Super Bowl, you’d for sure beat the 49ers

It’s frustrating man. I try to just trust that Lamar is that fucking dude and let him do what he does, but when you know he can get tf outta there if he just commits as soon as he sees the opening, and you know one defender caught lacking could mean he’s breaking a 30+ yard run, and you see him refuse to do it time and time again, it’s frustrating. I know he wants to be as close to a traditional qb as possible, but man he leaves so much on the field by acting like he’s got Brady legs. I know you wanna throw it, but dude, you’re hurting yourself and your team by doing this.

my hope is that he's just saving his legs for when it matters
he doesnt need to use them to win games in the regular season

the only really big running game from him was against the chiefs in the opener - partly could have been about OL as much as chasing the game i suppose
