Next Up: vs Steelers

I don’t have the time to pore over tape like some of you so I’ll trust what you are saying. I can say that I can’t recall seeing Wiggins turn to look for the ball, which was my point. Playing the man without looking for the ball gives pretty much zero chance for a pick, and increases the chance of DPI being called.
There has been times when wiggins didnt get his around but i remember that being early in season when he relied on his speed and had to play catch up when ball was in the air. Dnt worry, ill be the first to point it out once i see him consistently doing it…

Also somewhat related... while Nate has been stacking good games, Roger has been on about the same trajectory in recent weeks. He's had some really damn good performances. Nice to see that the first 2 picks looks to be hits, and we're finally starting to get some signs that a few of the mid-late rounds guys (Isaac, Walker, Ali, and Kane) might be able to turn into contributors at least.
Ali gonna be ass

Exactly. He's not perfect, and he absolutely has been caught with his head stuck on the man and not the ball, but those plays have been few and far between in comparison to the rest of his game. Stephens on the other hand... that's been his whole game. He's been playing with an extreme lack of confidence this year which is so starkly different to the guy we got last year.

Somewhat related note, I was recently clued in to what Wiggins' off-field issue is and apparently they've been doing a good job managing it, which is probably why you've seen a spike in his play as well.
That's great to hear!! What I don't understand about Stephens is 2024 Stephens is exactly equal to 2023 Stephens. How the hell did 2023 Stephens even happen? You can't get lucky for a whole season. Clearly it's in him, but it's not here this year. And he and Tucker are directly responsible for a bunch of our losses

Not even close to the same. I think you're letting a few bad Wiggins plays (first few weeks withstanding) influence your view of him because he has been borderline shutdown over the last few weeks.
Yeah, got it! lol Not saying he has been playing bad like BS, I'm saying he hasn't been turning to look for the ball. If he has I missed it.

It all seems to be confidence with him. The version we have now is almost the same as the 2022 version - all of the physical skills in the world but the head isn't working in conjunction with the body. Part of me wonders if he was impacted most by a struggling defense early, because he just doesn't seem to trust himself out there.

I still think he'd be a baller FS one day and wouldn't be surprised if his next team makes that move. With those type of movement skills, you'd think him being able to see the play vs. reacting to it would benefit him greatly.

Agholor ruled out, Johnson never playing again for the Ravens, and Bateman questionable.

WR group could easily be Flowers, Wallace, Walker tomorrow, with 1 or 2 of Kirkwood, Miller, Wade, and Cunningham

We're also looking a little crunchy in terms of roster spots. JAD to IR again seems like a given, but I also wonder if they just pull the plug on Diontae. I get what they're trying to do but if you need a spot...

We could need to add 1-2 WRs. Desmond King is the new PR and will be added. A 3rd TE in what should be a run heavy game seems plausible. And then you have Kwenkeu who they've been using on ST heavily.

Is Kolar gonna be able to come back? JAD can't make the team next year man.

Damn if Bateman and Agholor are out, the Ravens could be in for a very ugly offensive outing against Pittsburgh. I know the Steelers team is also a little banged up, but the Ravens had no answer for the Steelers rushing 4 last game and needed Andrews, Likely, and Hill to block at different times. Could mean that you are going into the game with Zay, Tylan, and Tez as their only receivers and you could be expecting those guys to get open against 7. Will definitely have to elevate some guys off the practice squad.

I do not understand the betting odds for tomorrow’s game. Ravens -300?? Ravens -6.5 I kinda get but I don’t see much that’s changed from week 11 that makes the Ravens a TD favorite. Watt is playing … just kinda strange. I see no reason not to take Steelers at +6.5

What the hell happening to Batemen?

Typically, in this series, you just blindly bet the underdog if they're getting 3+ points. It has been lucrative long term.
I don't particularly get this line either. Should be -4. I think historically betting sites put a point premium on offensive-minded teams.
That said if the Ravens won like 24-17, I wouldn't be shocked either.

Legacy game coming from either Wallace or Tez. #SIIE

Regarding @UPennChem 's favorite WR, I wonder if they're gonna do the same thing like what the Niners are doing with Campbell: don't release him so he can sign with a playoff team.

Guessing Nelson is in concussion protocol. Last week when he bounced his head off the turf like a basketball you could tell he wasn't right.

Sucks that Bate is hurting, seems every time things turn for him there's a set back.

Lol saw this after my post my bad - we are on these same page, not a great look and will need Monken to get creative on ways to keep Lamar upright and will have to use Likely more in a receiver role

I think that's what they'd like to do, but they're also burning a roster spot on him. If we need bodies, he's an obvious candidate to create space.
