Coaching Carousel 2025

Lol.... Raiders getting rid of their GM to help them attract Head Coaches but Jaguars think Trent Baalke makes Head Coaches want to go there.

and DEI initiatives have proven to improve corporate performance
Citation needed. Any time you hire for any other reason than getting the most qualified person, you are not inherently improving performance. Objectively.

A company can implement DEI and still improve dramatically. But it wasn't "because of DEI initiatives". It was despite them. Meritocracy is the best way to guarantee success anywhere.

That being said, I am not making any greater DEI commentary here. Nor am I in any agreement with anything that was said around all of this. I just saw that comment and had to respond because it seems so blatantly incorrect from an objective reality standpoint.

Patriots made a mockery out of the Rooney Rule just so they can hire Vrabel. Rumors suggest that Josh McDaniels will return as Offensive Coordinator, so Kraft getting the band back together.

I'm hoping he does good enough where the Bills finally have some competition in their division. I'm sick of them getting a free pass through 6 games.
They just have so little premium talent on that team. It looks like they've found a QB which is obviously a good start, but it's really just Maye and Christian Gonzalez. They have a lot of cap and need to spend it right, and get back to drafting well. Billy boy left them in a really rough spot with his drafting style.

probably just out of the reach of Hunter but man would that be a great cb tandem. Maybe best in league

So... is it safe to say the Bucs should fire Todd Bowles tomorrow? He's just not the guy for Tampa, he's carried by a talented roster but seemingly his coaching dooms the team. Bucs could still get a top candidate as their next Head Coach so.... it's not too late.

it's an interesting thought, but I doubt the Glazers will fire Bowles.

If Tomlin does in fact step down, I do not want the Steelers to hire Aaron Glenn or Ben Johnson, although I think Aaron Glenn would be their first choice.
