Lately, like 3 weeks ago, we ran the Pittsburgh into the ground, with Hill missing most of the game.

Also, Lamar isn't pulling back any longer. We saw in last 2 games what's coming in playoffs.

Well a) i'd point out that we had about as many passing yards as rushing yards in that game, with far less pass attempts, and b) I have no idea why you people Pittsburgh, who did a pretty good job of stopping the run against us like a month before that, are just going to let a Ravens team, without Zay Flowers, run it up and down the field on them again.

Tomlin will accept losing again, but he won't accept allowing 220 yards rushing.

a) That's the nature of a pass - it goes longer than a run (most of the time)
b) Henry had only 13 rushing attempts in the first game

Tomlin may not accept it but it's out of his hands. If he loads the box, we have enough pass catchers, even without Flowers, to kill their secondary.

I understand what you’re saying but it’s also kind of funny. Well shit Tomlin won’t accept our run game being successful, time to pack it up!

If we’re going to do anything this post season a huge part will be having two hall of fame running backs in Lamar and Henry, and I mean that by all respect to Lamar, he’s the best running back I’ve ever seen since Barry Sanders

My point was I think fans are on this kick where its like "hey we can't win unless Derrick Henry gets 25 touches" or this notion that somehow "not running the ball enough" somehow means we won't win. For some reason, fans have decided that its not really 2024 anymore, and its 2019, where we for some reason don't trust the passing game to be effective enough to win games. Despite everything in 2024 showing that's not true.

The key to winning a SB, among not turning the ball over, penalties, etc., on offense, is to attack your opponents weaknesses. If that means your opponent is going to let you throw the ball 40+ times, so be it. Then stand back there and sling the rock. With or without Flowers.

This is quite literally the only fanbase I've seen, with an actual great QB and potentially great team, who's #1 priority on offense is to have their QB throw it less. Never seen anything like it. I can guarantee you the Bills and Chiefs gameplans, which involve less weapons than the Ravens potentially have, isn't to find ways to get the ball out of their QBs hands.

This teams strength isn't running the ball. It's balance. It's attacking teams weaknesses. That's what the gameplan should be. If we lose attacking the teams weakness, then so be it. Nobody cares if you lose with Henry getting 25 carries.

This enrages me as someone who would love to have season tickets if I could, and I already see them once in Baltimore and once in Cinci every year anyway

Yea I agree and the rigid rqmt of Henry carried talking point has always irked me for the reasons you explained. I think we’ll do what it takes
