The King, the Lamar, and the 3rd Quarter

Them boys was in hell. They dared Lamar to beat them with his legs and Lamar started doing just that. Then they started keying on Lamar and Henry went off. They had absolutely no idea who to try to stop save for one random drive in Q3.
They went after moral victories in the end, their defensive formations said “yall might beat us, but you ain’t gon just run out the clock on us!” We could ran few a simple play actions and went absolutely nuts on the scoreboard, but we chose to just keep making them step the run.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an NFL defense that tired like the Steelers were to end the 1st half. Every single one of them was sucking wind, bent over, hands on hips, or taking a knee. Cam Heyward was contemplating retirement on the spot

Heyward really did look like he had retirement on his mind, face said I’m too old for this shit

It’s funny because I told my family member he had the look of someone thinking about his trip to Cancun. He definitely looked done. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hangs them up after this year, let alone next year. His time is almost over for sure

I watched football through the early 2000s, they were exceptionally dirty back then as well, more than most franchises. They’ve consistently been this way from the beginning
I watched football in the 70s. The 2000s were pussies compared to the 70s.

tbf... with a 14 point lead, the 40 seconds on the playclock were more important than a potential 7 points - 2nd and 7 was a good outcome of first down on those final 2 drives because it let us run more and more clock

PQ showing that he's not a good zone LB. He should have noticed what was going on around him and dropped deeper to shrink the passing window. Either he had no idea where Likely was behind him, or he was too focused on spying on Jackson.

Feels like the Steelers didn't watch any film on PQ before signing him. Just saw his speed and splash plays, and assumed he would be their new Shazier.

Pit only gave Queen guaranteed money in year 1, so they can cut him without taking any losses, so I think they knew his issues and wanted to see what they'd get in their system

Obviously, his fundamentals are still bad after all this time. From day 1 I've viewed his as the Matt Elam of LBs - shit at what his position group must know, but produces some splash plays that makes people overlook that he can't tackle or play zone

lol queen's nothing like elam

he's not a MLB to anchor your defence around - he rightly earned his pro bowl and 2nd team all-pro nod last year as a WLB - he's a ceiling-raiser for a well put together defensive spine but not someone you can build a spine around

I think if you run a hybrid defense and already have a great traditional MLB, Patrick queen might be the best ILB2 you can find. He’s a pass rusher, and I think if he’s used correctly in a front where other backers can drop and cover, he could actually hit 10 sacks, he just has to be used as a pass rusher than can hit any gap on the front. If used traditionally he’s a complete liability

I just knew Joey had some yellow stain terrible towel blood coarsing through his veins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No way my folks are genetically baltimorons, I was the last generation raised in south Baltimore lol. I married into a steeler family, her folks are from Altoona, but her parents have been here for 35 years and they can’t help but love our team even if they say they’re Steelers fans

I think PQ did work at Foot Locker, just like Cleats. lol
