Next Up: @ Bills (Divisional Round)

Why are Bills fans so convinced a snow cold game is going to easily give them the advantage. I swear this fanbase all year on Twitter has been insufferable, they think the cold is exclusive to Buffalo, they thought it would guarantee the win against Cincinnati two years ago too I remember Bengal fans being up in arms over it. They’re very much like Bengal fans, unbelievably cocky and acting like the more accomplished team. City of losers. Man I can’t wait to smash them again

I know it's gonna be freezing, but is it gonna snow on Sunday?

Also, I'm curious to see how much play action will we use this time around. While it didn't matter as much this past Saturday, I just think BUF will be more ready for our run game. They had a few key players out when we played them in week 4.

That's what Pittsburgh said. And Pitt got back Ogunjabi, the type of star big body player that actually makes a difference in stopping Henry (along with Highsmith and Elliot, great run stuffers with size for their positions). Nobody Buffalo is getting back adds any beef to the lineup, just smarts. I don't doubt the presence of Milano & co. will limit the bigger chunks but unless they are signing some new big bodies that can actually play you still have Henry getting to the 2nd level cleanly and that means 150+ yds. I got all the respect for Josh & the Bills, they are our equals and Josh is Lamar's equal. I just think this is rock on scissors and Bills are gonna get busted up.

I would think the same if it wasnt freezing.. at first i thought bills would beat us after they got amari but im not sure now because they dont even use him correctly.

My only concern is our secondary, after seeing those two moon balls vs Pitt

Josh Allen is going to have a great day throwing the ball vs our D. We just need to be a little bit better on offense , heavy dose of runs to demoralize the Bills D

I don’t equate it to any specific team. I think we’re a team that just wilts under the pressure at this stage of the season. I look forward to them proving me wrong, but until they do, they’ve earned that description in my eyes.

I feel more confident this year but that doesn’t mean the past isn’t hanging out in the back of my head.
This is how I feel. I just don’t trust this team to rise to the occasion time and time again. I know it might be asking a lot and you can’t win them all, but between this year, last year, and 2019, we should have a ring to show for it, and we don’t because we shrunk and panicked in big moments, it’s not a talent issue, it’s just been mental weakness in every loss, whether it’s coaches, players, or both, they’ve all played a hand in it.

This is the playoffs, so I don’t buy into any of the “we’ve gotten over that hump” based on regular season games and a wild card win against a floundering team, we’ve been here before, the moment hasn’t gotten big yet, that begins this week.

And then, if we rise to this occasion, the AFCCG in arrowhead is the biggest occasion we’ve had to rise to yet, and I won’t believe in them going in, and they would have to prove it to me again.

I just have a feeling this is going to be a back and forth game. I can't imagine for one second that James Cook isn't gonna keep the chains moving occasionally. That Josh isn't gonna make something out of nothing. Coleman isn't gonna big boy Stephens again. Yada yada.

At the same time, aint no way Derrick isn't gonna do his thing and so is Lamar. I just hope for the love of God, if the Bills do a little scoring, Monken and Harbs don't freak the fuck out and throw out the gameplan

Yeah I expect a valiant effort from Josh Allen, maybe he even make his best case for MVP in a loss. But I said before the WC's that Henry was going to be the mvp of the AFC playoffs and this is the game that will get that convo going.

Ravens 38-27.

Harbs and monk are definitely prone to freaking out but so is Lamar. He hasn’t been that guy this year but this is one of those narrative games, the mvp battle and all it takes to getting down one score for Lamar to think he’s gotta prove something due to the narrative.

I just hope he’s over that shit and he’s finally able to block out the chatter

I think the world of Bills mafia but they are a delusional bunch. 30 yr old, 223 lb Matt Milano, knocking off a years' worth of rust, is not going to be the difference against the Ravens heavy package and stopping Henry. As much as they cry about missing players in week 4, they don't know that our OLine has improved leaps and bounds since then. Rosengarten was still taking lumps every week, Mekari was a penalty machine and Faalale was not close to the alternate PB'er he morphed into.
