The Running Game, the Turnovers, and the Same Ol’ Ravens

I think for me it's a loud vocal group and seems to be a very large amount due to the fact that Allen will (likely) have zero MVPs after this season and if he doesn't win the Super Bowl, he doesn't have anything to stand out the way Lamar does.

Bills fans are so upset that Lamar gets the accolades he does and feel so slighted.

It's just annoying because Lamar winning MVP doesn't mean Allen hasn't had good seasons or that he isn't a good quarterback. It'd be like saying Drew Brees is only mediocre because he never won MVP. It's dumb.
Lamar was clutch as hell this game, it’s so frustrating because he has this playoff label but Joe burrow has never done anything like that in a playoff game, he’s never had a 4th quarter TD and he’d be 3-3 without Tyler Huntley, but he’s a stone cold killer. Go watch that Super Bowl he was awful

This will be related to my post about our fan base ragging on Lamar, but the one that cracks me up is Justin Herbert.

I think something people are starting to turn, but he's still got his entire fan base as dedicated to him as Jim Harbaugh and a lot of outside fans still fawn over him.

I wish our fans were a bit more like Chargers fans at times.

Oh man. I almost feel bad for him being stuck with Greg Roman. But yea if he doesn’t take the same heat that Lamar has than that’s crazy. But it’s true, he just threw 4 INTs in a playoff game and the fanbase is fully behind him saying we need to do better surrounding him, etc.

Our fanbase (at least some) is blaming Lamar for the throw to Andrews lmao

Now THAT'S a QB that tends to avoid the same sort of criticism when he shits the bed. Granted, his pass-catchers were just mid at best which is why I never understood how some Chargers fans touted him as better than Lamar.

I'm dumbfounded that they never changed the logo from the lightning bolt to a yellow Ravens logo. It was so entertaining to see droves of Ravens fans on social media warn Chargers fans about Roman.

This is so ridiculous . Morons.
Yea to contrast, bengals fanbase was saying burrow underthrown deep ball into double coverage to chase was a great throw.

I’m just not sure we can continue with Andrews because playoffs are all that matter to this team, and he is absolutely killing us. And while it’s unfair because he battled back from a horrible injury, he ruined the chemistry in the playoff game last year. I would love for him to redeem himself but what if he costs us next year too with a horrible drop?

So i go the gym on Monday in the Baltimore where I live and this couple there are wearing Bills shirts

What trolls ! I wouldn't think of wearing a Ravens shirt at a Buffalo gym the day after a playoff win for us.

So i got this idea. I went up to the guy acting like I didn't know the answer to this question:

Hey, do you know how many Super Bowls the Bills have won? He got this sheepish look and said none.

I said , oh thanks for letting me know and finished my workout.

GOTCHA MF'er !!!!!!

you do know what BILLS stands for, don't you.

Boy I Love Losing SuperBowls

They are awful fucking fans for doing this. It’s one thing to donate to Lamar's charity when he got knocked out of the game for a concussion .It's quite a low class move to donate to Andrews' charity for his drops and fumble.
…that’s not why they’re donating

The creators of the fund have literally said it was a response to a minority number of Bills fans yelling obscenities at him after the game.

That’s awesome. Thanks for pointing this out. I don’t hate them THAT much now

I still do. They’ve invented the Lamar is coddled by the media narrative. Them losing and Lamar winning MVP will be a nice consolation considering it’s the only thing we have left this season.

And I think that’s exactly what’s going to happen, which gives me solace

I’m so mad Damar Hamlin was able to grab Lamar on that bad snap, there was a lot of open room it looked like if he could have gotten free. What a stupid play that now all the haters get to use to say “muh 2 TOS “

Flowers getting knee surgery potentially. It’s funny how no one talks about his best WR being out. Then Bateman was also hurt. Oh but he has Andrews!

he needed to hold the safety a bit longer and Bateman needs to run the right route. If he holds the safety, the pass still may not have been caught, but it would have landed incomplete to live another down.

I think the ball slips in Lamar’s hand slightly - I think he wants to throw it more to the sideline

I don’t think we'll ever see a game like Flacco's 4/10 for 34 yards and an INT, but still win ever again.

But Flacco walked away with the win, so he's the GOAT.

On a serious note- it is so frustrating that Lamar is labeled as this choker and failure, and yes he made mistakes, but he was damn near perfect otherwise. It just sucks because the rest of the team also had their fair share of mistakes and stepped up around Lamar too late (or not at all in the case of Andrews). There's just rarely been games that I've seen where the team around Lamar plays so well that they pick up a bad game from Lamar and carry him across the finish line.

I think, ironically, despite good or even great defences… the easiest way to support a struggling qb is with turnovers and this defence just doesn’t force turnovers

There’s no ray Lewis or Ed reed or Terrell Suggs here to make a game-changing play in a big moment
