And we had Harrison twice but unfortunately before he decided he's going to be a football player. He and Suggs would have been an absolute nightmare.

Orr showed to me at least, when he got some help from Pees and when Marcus Williams' bum ass wasn't on the field, that he could coach competently. He's got Pagano from the start this year and he's got a whole year more experience. If we're complaining about his coordinating at mid season, I'll be very disappointed

I know it's preseason but our backups were embarrassing. Did not look like they should be earning money doing this.

I mean if they see the field for more than a game or two the season if off the rails. Feel free to bring in Jake Browning next offseason but even having a good backup means nothing to me when the drop off is so massive.

They could pick up Snoop again for vet min, when he drops off Cleveland's QB swarm if they're worried about Rush.
I know camp reports about him aren't good and he threw a bad pick but Rush looked like an acceptable back up with Dallas he played.
It's Leary that annoys me more. What does it matter whether he cost a draft pick, or that he knows the offense if your QB3 is so awful that you have to completely abandon the passing game in preseason? What use is that level of passing in camp anyway?
Is the slim hope of chasing a sunk cost really worth throwing away reps for your WRs and TEs in preseason and even in practice?
I watched his snaps with Dallas and he was not good. He had no arm and poor accuracy and was managing to only look below average because of a solid line and good weapons (specifically Lamb).
He is a textbook example of why wins aren’t a QB stat.

The only person Huntley is better than is Leary lol
I did like huntley throwing the check downs but other than that he was like really really bad
I know Longerbeam had kind of fallen behind Reuben Lowery prior to his injury, so not too surprising that they just pulled the plug and put him on IR early. I don't think the injury was bad enough to necessitate IR under normal circumstances, but they need healthy bodies to play these preseason games and he just didn't show enough to say they should wait for him.

Still, that is disappointing that both our CB draftees are now on IR. That is a bad omen.
Kone is the one they're more disappointed about obviously. He still needed some development, but he had been having a good camp and they were looking forward to seeing how he'd improve over the season.
