2025 Offseason Thread

I agree Edge is a huge need (arguably the most critical) because there is nothing there outside Van Noy, Robinson, and Oweh
Edge is our biggest need for sure. Imagine having someone like Garrett on this team. Damn.None of our rushers are consistent. They could be
MIA for games at a time.

Where are those SIIE guys? We need them to get to work on Garrett to Baltimore.
Two reasons why I didn't bother. 1) See, I try to be realistic with my SIIEs. As pathetic as that organization is, no chance they would do a trade with a division rival. And 2) well......

I'd slightly disagree with Edge being the biggest need. We already know we're a good reg. season team but when we're looking at getting over the post season hump, it hasn't been the defense that has let us down. It's been the interior O line being overmatched against the best teams, so Guard would be my #1 priority (as long as Stanley is back).

I can see the argument that the lack of playoff turnovers has hurt too, so I don't hate the Edge plan either.

The way I see it, we've got about 5 position groups that we should strengthen (Guard, D Line, Edge, Safety, CB), so we're in a great position to just play the draft how it falls and BPA the first 4 picks and then just fills gaps later.

Depends how you classify a need. We're one season away from Adisa Isaac and Tavius Robinson being the only pass rushers under contract. That screams need to me, even if not immediately (although I'd still argue it is).

We'll definitely add at least one in the draft, and there's always a vet. signing at that position, so by 26, it'll be a need-ish but that's probably a similar story with other position groups. ( eg. By '26 we'll only have Vorhees and Rosengarden on the O line, no Tight Ends, only Kane and Brade at Safety (until the inevitable 5YO on Kyle) etc.

And that's fair.

The big reason a pass rush is a need to me is to create more turnovers. Pressure the QB and make them make bad decisions. We have a good group now but they aren't special. If you can get special, get special.

That's my view with Guard. We're a special regular season offense who needs to stop getting blown up down the middle to remain special in the playoffs.

Regarding IOL vs Edge, I go back to this

1. We’ve had success finding mid round guards and so has the league
2. It’s increasingly harder to find talented Edge defenders late
3. Back when we forced a lot of turnovers in 2023 we had Clowney but mostly everyone else was the same player or better. Turnovers are part luck yes but also part due to pressure as well.

Kubiak left after one year if im not mistaken.

I love this for the Ravens O and Lamar. We focus on O-line and Monken is going to spread it out more (PAUSE)

Yup. Love the continuity and not moving Andrews bless its part of a dealnfor a piece or a HIGH pick, which I doubt we'd get anyway. We get to run it back with everyone and hopefully a better OL. Wont be that weird early phase we experienced this year.

Nate Wiggins casually dropping an insane rookie year lol

Feel like we never had to worry about him or heard his name called. Great progress on the season.

I know this sounds dumb. And I know the goal is always to win. As I'm typing this I get how stupid it will read. This team has nothing to prove in the regular season. Try and go undefeated.

Big hire for the Ravens: Chuck Pagano returns as a Sr. Secondary Coach

That's a pretty nice get for a unit that struggled for a good portion of the year and may have to rely on some young guys to step up.
LETS GO!

Was Mike Mac Sr. Good to see him back coaching again.

That’s amazing news. I’m really happy to great that. I assume he will take on the Pees role some since Harbaugh said he’d stick around but not as much.

Next year, we gonna hire Rex Ryan as a senior advisor.

We molding Zach Orr to be the next HC and letting him collect the souls of the past greats until he becomes the ONE
