2025 Offseason Thread

I know they've already had conversations with Jaire's camp, obviously sanctioned by the Packers telling him to find a trade. My understanding is that they like the player, but do not like the injury history and the potential associated cost. They're always going to check in on good players that come available this late in the offseason. I don't sense this is one of those "oh my god we need to get him" things though. The preference remains to get younger unless a deal is too good to turn down.

Jaire? Lol
He's a good player but he hasn't been healthy for quite sometime. He also brings versatility since he can play outside corner and in the nickel but so can the veteran corner they signed as well..I think Jaire is a guy the ravens would.only sign if he's willing to accept a favorable contract

Sell him on the fact he dont gotta play full-time, so that "17 games played" stat will look good for his next contract.

Rotate him with Chido in the CB2 role. We just need his ass for them Ja'Marr Chase matchups and playoffs lol

I ain’t tryna go after jaire. I don’t want salary cap sitting on the trainers table, and frankly he’s just a bit overrated at this point, even if he’s healthy.

Would have to be an extremely team friendly deal, I’m not dead against putting Tampa out there and seeing how it all plays out, but defensively I think the best the team could do is pull Ramsey

And that's my thing. I knew he was injured, but I didn't know how bad this was until a friend of mine mentioned it: dude has played in more than 7 games just ONCE the last four seasons.

Malaki getting the Likely experience already lol. He's awkward and unconventional, but it works.

Likely is gonna be good until he’s old and retiring, idk if he’ll ever fall off as long as he’s healthy, he’s got movement skills that I don’t think will fade with age/mileage, none of his game is speed based, but he plays twice as fast as DBs that would smoke him in a foot race

I agree with you and believe Mark, having type 1 diabetes is a big reason he doesn't get extended. He's still a very good player though and it will be tough to see him go.

the closest ive seen to likely coming out was harold fannin jr in the class this year
both look funny in how they run but are really effective in the route

both also not at major colleges, both didnt test particularly well (maybe partly because of the schools they went to and the resources available to them)

Thought a lot of the same of fannin, was pretty high on him in this class

completely agree and I would have loved it if the ravens could have drafted him.

I drank the juice and I am about to jump off a cliff with this hot take about Likely

Love likely but i remember when all we had was andrews and teams still couldnt stop him. They were doubling and matching up cbs vs andrews. likely is gonna cost us some big money. Every team in the nfl knows he can ball. Easily a 1k tight end if he was #1 starter
