LIKELY IS GOING TO GO DOWN AS THE GREATEST RAVENS TE OF ALL TIME

I'm logging off.

I understand that my actions have consequences and I am prepared to take it (pause)

Dobbins getting an average of 1M per game played this season from the Broncos….

Gonna be crazy when Andrews and Likely walk next year and we resign Kolar to be our TE1 :)

Love likely but i remember when all we had was andrews and teams still couldnt stop him. They were doubling and matching up cbs vs andrews. likely is gonna cost us some big money. Every team in the nfl knows he can ball. Easily a 1k tight end if he was #1 starter
Greg Roman features the TE as the primary weapon in the pass game, that’s really not a surprise and in that same offense if Likely is the number 1 passing threat I believe he’s producing as well.

Andrews was my 2nd favorite raven for most of his time here, i don’t think Likely is better than prime Andrews who I thought was the leagues TE1 for a 3 year stretch, but I think Andrews while still very good is on the back half of his career and hasn’t been the most clutch guy even in his prime, he’s gone off in volume for a very long time and made a shit ton of big plays, but man it seems like he has a lot of head scratchers in game defining moments, that Buffalo 2 point drop is not an out of the ordinary kinda moment for andrews.

You know something? If Likely gets re-signed (he motherfucking better) and continues this production over a long period of time, I'm not necessarily mad at this take.

Andrews has a lot of Ravens receiving records and he'll have them all by the end of this year. I'd probably rather* to keep Likely going forward but I'll need to see it to believe he'll be better than Mark at his best.

*There might be enough of a price difference where it's better to keep Andrews for less money. Who knows?

I’ve been a Likely fan since Day 1, but he has a lot of ground to cover to equal Andrews’ value. And I’m guessing Mark will be working harder than ever(if that’s possible) this year.

I was a big fan of Likely coming into the draft and drafted him in the Forum Mock that year. That being said, I agree with you. He needs to do a lot to come close to equalling Andrews'.

Still not the biggest believer but we'll see this year. Should probably give benefit of the doubt with all the turnover we had on that side.

this feels very specifically like chuck smith saw a ton of dean pees takes in 2024 and wants to set the record straight

benefit of the doubt seems obvious given the way the defence completely changed after marcus williams and eddie jackson were out of the lineup...
