So how long do you believe devils triangle has been used as a sex term lol. Ever listen to Cheech and Chong. His name is Ralphhh. You just assuming he's lying cuz that's what you want to believe.

Lets see the accuser cant remember the house where she was at. Cant remember why she was there. All the witnesses back Kavanaugh counting her girlfriend. Absolutely no proof. Also she couldn't remember the day her lie detector test was taken or whether it was even taped. Her lawyers had to jump in several times. Problem is guys they could have investigated this under confidentiality with gobs of time but Feinstein held on to the letter. Remember this playing card was already used. Unprovable allegations from decades ago.

a devil's triangle has always been and will always be a reference to a threesome with 2 men and a woman - ralphing has always referred to vomiting - usually after excessive drinking - boofing has always been a term for drug use

among other lies:
he lied about watching Ford's testimony (a pointless lie tbh and easily verifiable)
he lied about the legal drinking age in maryland that summer
he lied (or at least has a very inconsistent viewpoint) on the efficacy of polygraphs

Well then why use that as an excuse to delay the hearings? I personally don't enjoy it neither.

from some of the republican committee members lines of questions it sounds like there was a lot of confusion on both sides - the republicans seemed to insinuate that they could have got her testimony near to her but that got lost in translation somewhere

if something as easy to communicate as that got missed somewhere then its easy to believe that logistically there was a reasonable delay - its not like it was delayed 293 days like for garland

As shitty as this situation could potentially be, it won’t matter if McConell decides to call a vote. Which he likely will if Republicans lose the senate entirely before congress goes out of session. Public outcry isn’t going to change shit. Look at who’s president right now.

Republicans are trying to get re-elected and are playing it safe. It’s very unlikely the republicans lose the senate, but since this is the #1 issue right now they’re not going to confirm him any time soon for that reason.

I dont think he’s going to get confirmed though

i think they'll try and push him through asap - because so many of these committee members want to get back to their own states to get on the campaign trail before the midterms and dont want to have to be held up in washington

I don’t. Sad truth is that the congressmen care more about getting re-elected than doing their damn jobs in the modern climate.

I don’t want Kavanaugh in court because of this circus and the fact that this could incite fucking riots in certain parts of this country.

If he gets confirmed expect a shitshow.

ooh i missed one:

FFFFFFFourth of July - is not making fun of a 15 year old's stutter - it is in fact an acronym for "find 'em, french 'em, feel 'em, finger 'em, fuck 'em, forget 'em" by the way

also having studied latin at school (lol) i was thinking the word "alumnius" sounded funny and a bit weird to me so i googled that word specifically and an analysis of that very word (which doesnt exist in latin) from someone who thought it sounded funny also:

One of the first things you learn in Latin class in high school is the word “alumna/alumnus”. There are a few reasons for this. The first reason you learn it is because you're in high school, and you're interested in graduating, and “alumna/alumnus” features in a lot of the early, simplest sentences about students in school, or students who have just graduated from school.

Another reason is that alumna/alumnus are pretty easy & regular nouns. “Alumna” is first declension female gender meaning “former student” or “graduate of”. A single female graduate is an “alumna” — two or more female graduates are “alumnae” which is the plural form.

“Alumnus” is second declension male gender meaning "former student” or “graduate of.” A single male graduate is an “alumnus” — two or more male graduates are “alumni”.

Here’s the thing that struck me about Kavanaughs yearbook entry. There is no such word as “Alumnius”. It does not exist in Latin. And normally one would just say “oh, they just were unfamiliar with Latin,” but this is a Catholic school, Georgetown Prep, where even today the website proudly states that students are required to complete two years of Latin, Latin I & Latin II.

So if you are a Latin student, by second year Latin you know the correct spelling of “alumnus”. It's “alumnus” not “alumnius”. And all of the potential endings of the noun are drilled into you, because that's what you memorize. “ius” is not a first or second declension noun ending.

“Alumnius” is not real Latin. It's not a mistake, because these boys knew Latin (the Catholic school kids in the ‘80s took a lot of Latin & dominated at the Latin conventions because they spend so much class time on it — yes, there were Latin conventions). So was it a typo? Probably not, same reason. Nobody typesetting the yearbook would make that mistake, it would be like spelling “dog” “doig”. So it's probably another inside joke.

Translating “Renate Alumnius” out of joke Latin we get “one male" (-us) "of many male" (-i) “former students” or “graduates of” Renate.

What I don't get is why is there another FBI investigation while it was reported that he's been investigated by the FBI 6 times?

Really. In your opinion what did I miss? I completely agree with him that slavery should be remembered but I completely disagree about the Jewish holocaust being more strongly remembered. That was on different soil and NOT a part of our history. How the fuck are we ever supposed to move on which is my words if the black man is not willing to which is what I get out of these posts.

Btw @Militant X 1 I highly respect your posts. I just don't agree especially when you say most white men.

So, all you got from my posts was that the black man is not willing to "move on"? Got to be kiddng me!

See, this is why there is such a disconnect between our nationalities over this social issue.

Too much back and forth on a forum as I predicted!

Enjoy the rest of the thread.....

The closest I could find was Trump saying he'd been investigated six times (so setting aside a fairly important distinction between reporting something and reporting that someone said something), but the short answer is that it depends on the investigations. Legalese can get quite complicated because it has to be so precise, so it's easy to imagine those allegations hadn't come within the scope of any other investigations.

It also looks like background checks are being conflated with investigations, which are a more routine matter of checking for warrants, criminal history, other allegations laid against him and that kind of thing. I'm assuming it's similar in the US but it's a matter of protocol for people to get police-checked before taking jobs that involve working with kids, and a check would cover the kind of stuff I mentioned that police have access to. But if someone had been abusing kids and no one had come forward, it's possible to have a background check that comes up clean because law enforcement can't be all places at all times and know everything.

I didn't use the best choice of words there. I understand where you coming from on the Middle Passages, the Emancipation and Jim Crow. We cant change history. I wish we could.

The thing I was disturbed by was the point that was made that you said you were public enemy #1 cuz of skin color as of today by most white men. Im sorry you believe that. Thing is I'm sick and tired of my party constantly being called racists. Not by you since I've never heard you say that but in general.

I agree lets "move on" from this subject.....

@DeVito52 This thread has led me to one conclusion: our country is over.

I will leverage my new position with the US Senate and will be constituting a brand new dictatorship with a constitutional figurehead monarch that will take all the shit for me while I secretly run this country behind the scenes. As my figurehead who is more or less a punching bag with no actual power I choose Donald Trump because everyone hates him anyways.

I appoint @OriolesMagicPlease as my lead counsel. You will receive compensation in the form of, shut up I am going to let you live in the White House for free and you get full access to the chef as well.

Also, I am going to tax @SepticeyePoe an extra 10,000% just cuz.

I will also have a figurehead congress, more or less keeping the structure the same. I mean, they don't really do there jobs anyways so it's not like anything is going to stay the same. But I will appoint Ted Cruz to a full time position of power so that way when I fuck up, we can all ridicule him, because let's be real, fucker deserves it. Also, I will institute Hillary Clinton as the Vice President so we can have an even worse political climate.

Finally, I will appoint @DeVito52 to run NFL matters, Godell is a dummy. You can't possibly be any worse. But I do have one decree @JoeyFlex5 be sent to the pit of misery.

OUR COUNTRY IS OVER.

Fuck me, Politics is a circus. I hope that whoever is elected the next president is boring, dull and uncharismatic as fuck so I can stop pulling my hair out of this garbage. Fuck.. Fuck... FUCK

No need to be disturbed or to feel sorry that I feel that way. Like I told you before, that's "my reality" as a black man in this nation not yours as a white man! Too many incidents over the years and recently, constantly reminds me of that fact regardless of how affluent I may be.

One case and point of many: Lebron James is a superstar athlete and philantropist, but, (white society.....not everyone of course) had no problem "reminding" him that regardless of how much money he's made or community service he's provided; he's still a black man, when they spray painted racial slurs on his garage doors.

So Will, as a minority, I'm not, nor can I allow my self to be so naive or oblivious to the social, economical and racial injustices that's mostly perpetuated towards minorities in this nation since its inception.

Peace,

~ Mili

Me, you and everyone else on these boards are good! Always will be my brother!

Crazy that I just came on lol. Just got all my yard work done. I'm glad we good. Very true about Lebron. Nobody on this forum likes racists that's for sure. I only say things cuz I feel that some policies are better than other policies.

Both lawyers for Kavanaugh and Ford have connections to Hillary Clinton.

It's interesting ... Kavanaugh's lawyer, Beth Wilkinson, is a high-powered, Washington D.C. lawyer who represented multiple top Clinton aides involved in the FBI email investigation during the campaign. She's also a long-time Democratic booster, and is married to CNN contributor David Gregory.

As for Dr. Ford ... her lawyer, Debra Katz, was a campaign fundraiser for Clinton during her 2016 Presidential campaign.

Katz certainly would hold a grudge against Trump for winning and therefore would do anything to stop his pick for SC. Sucks they don't have lawyers who don't have any connections to any party or candidates.

so what?
a study was conducted to see if women would levy false accusations against powerful people in a hypothetical situation for 700k - only one woman said she would consider it for 2mill and she pulled out

even if these lawyers have these connections and those connections really are doing this - what's the incentive for these women?
