Ravens Trade for Ty Montgomery

Haha to the redskins. Damn I feel for you.
Dude... skins are for real. Honestly they might mke some noise now that they have a qb who doesn’t make constant bonehead plays.

Good methodical qb who protects the ball
One of the better OLs in the league
AP is playing at a pro bowl alternate level
Christian Thompson is back and healthy who is a monster third down back

Their defense is legit with Allen, Payne, smith, Kerrigan, and brown up front, and with Norman, haha, and the other safety who’s name eludes me atm, they are pretty well off across the board. And they’re playing like it too.

I think the skins are for real

He was angry he wasn't getting enough touches so he went against Coach McCarthys orders on kneeling in the end zone for a touchback. Instead he ran it out and fumbled the ball.
That’s why he did that??????

That explains a lot and explains why he was let go. Yeah thts bad, and that kinda shit doesn’t fly here under Harbaugh. I’m sure there’s been discussions and if he even hints at that kinda behavior he will be gone

But a player I'm really interested in is Dante Fowler. The jags are trying to trade him for a 2nd rounder. Unfortunately a price we cant pay atm
I would’ve loved Fowler but yeah not for that price.
I don't think my Packers are making the playoffs. There seems to be a lot of turmoil in the Locker room this year. Haha Clinton Dix wants out too. We're unraveling.
He’s a guy I would really like here. That’s the move I wanted the most because I would let someone go if we got him

Hindsight 2020... do you think haha would’ve been the better pick over Mosley in 2014?

Looking at the debacles of Matt Elam, will hill, Kendrick Lewis, darian Stewart, and Michael huff, and how badly some of those guys killed our ability to make the playoffs/beat the pats in the divisional round, I have thought for some time that he would’ve been the better pick.

i dont know why anyone thinks ty's coming in to be a returner

he's coming in to solidify our RB depth for almost no cost for at most half a season
with Collins fumble issues and Ty's tackle-breaking style i think he sees carries fairly quickly
Anyone who doesn't think giving up nothing from the upcoming draft and basically nothing from the 2020 draft is on something very strong. He is definitely coming in to solidify our RB depth.

Alex Smith is the only player holding this Redskins back from being truly dominant
guys like Jordan Reed, Jamison Crowder and Paul Richardson are making plays for him but there are times when Smith has really held their offence down

the biggest thing for the redskins now is that their OL is all healthy

Trent Williams is an all-pro LT
Brandon Scherff is playing like an all-pro G
Morgan Moses is one of the better RTs in the league too

However, McCarthy has proven to be a dumbass when it comes to giving certain players playtime or a lackthereof. Aaron jones is filthy and it took forever for him to realize it. Ty was pissed for good reason. He shouldn’t have done that but whatever he won’t do it again, Harbaugh will be adamant about that.

no question the skins have some talent on offense. If they only had the option to pay Cousins. Oh wait........Blame that on Bruce Allen, because Scot McCloughan wanted to pay him in the first offseason when he could have been had for 18m over 3 years. lol Allen didn't want to pay him.

I don't understand Montgomery pick up.
He doesn't bring anything to our run game that we don't have already and Jones is doing OK as a returner.
And do we really want a guy able to pull such a bone-headed move?

Alex Smith will always hold a team back from dominating, but he can make a team competitive. He’s in a good place, great run game, great weapons, great protection, and what looks like a damn good defense.

Same. Despite being a huge Mosley fan since his first year starting(I mean big, I said then that it’s a shame the ravens win all the time because that means he won’t be available to us) I preferred HHCD because we desperately needed a safety and he following years proved that.

Although I also thought Arthur brown and Daryl Smith was the duo for he next few years lol

To clarify I don’t dislike the move, I’m just holding out hope that we make a bigger splash. Personally I’d like to see us move a guy and a pick for a bigger name guy, maybe even jimmy if someone is interested, and only if we can get a C or an elite speedy ILB in return
