If we lose against Atlanta you put in Lamar essentially to both get him experience and to tank for draft position. Offseason focus needs to be the trenches and basically nothing else. One step at a time.

Some great throws today. Some lousy ones. Lamar’s potential is clearly there but he needs to become more consistent

Come on now, that's more than a stretch. This team is too average, wins against bad and usually looses to good teams.
It might seem that we do have a shot at playoffs but it just seems that way.

Oh, so with Joe, we stay 8-8 but with Lamar we tank to 6-10?
Give me a break.

not sure joe comes back and wins more games than lamar tbh - he's a better pocket passer but lamar opens up the running game so much it makes the whole offence more effective - if im honest it looks like a wash at this point - there's no guarantee that joe's the better play in terms of winning games especially coming off an injury

I won't be fooled by this team any more. I'm not getting my hopes up by ANY means. However, I hope nobody misconstrues my assessment by wanting this team to tank because I don't. I would LOVE for them to go on a tear and make the playoffs, but I just don't see it happening despite winning two in a row.

We were average in 2012 as well. Anything can happen if you just get in.

Fwiw i wouldnt be shocked if the chargers won it all

We all have five games left and bad luck can hit any of the contenders. We need to just keep winning, momentum is a good thing heading to the playoffs

These next 2 weeks will dictate our season...and who finishes out the year at QB. I have a feeling well see both play extensively...this QB drama just got a whole lot better. And im ok with it

I just hope it does not cause any issues with the players, who may want one or the other.
