Joe Flacco still has the longest Ravens touchdown run by a quarterback in Franchise History.
Yeah, Lamar should learn from Joe how it's done.Joe Flacco still has the longest Ravens touchdown run by a quarterback in Franchise History.

I just think he will be the next star in this league. He looks to have a Good throwing arm, very mobile and he is 3-0 as a starter so far.???
Explain, please.
I agree. Lamar is better. Flacco was a good QB from 2008 to 2014 but has declined a lot since.Joe Flacco longest run- 38yd TD.
Lamar Jackson longest run- 39yds (but no TD).

There are blank spots for sure, but it's not like these teams had huge dramatic turnarounds. A lot of the reason that the Bills D improved was improved QB play/field position/less time on the field but it's still the same players, scheme, etc. The Broncos had a different arch of improvement since they had momentum when they played in, but the same pieces are in place. Every team has a variance and sometimes injuries play a huge role, but we shouldn't just say "oh they sucked then but are good now" and use that to take credit away

That’s a pretty biased comment . Just because he is dynamic doesn’t mean he can’t play qb and he has a pretty high ceiling at that.I don’t like mobile qbs. I do like Flacco but if we are going to move on I’d rather not have a Mobile qb.
Lamar IS our most dynamic player. It’s a shame he’s never considered following suit of some other Mobile qbs and becoming a slot receiver / utility back, like Edelman
But of course I’ll get slammed for that idea.
*rereads 5 times*That’s a pretty racist comment even if you didn’t mean it that way. Just because he is dynamic doesn’t mean he can’t play qb and he has a pretty high ceiling at that.
And why are we running the ball effectively? The defense has to take Lamar into account which opens up holes, even if the box has been stacked. The winning creates the false equivalency to competency.
We aren’t winning because Lamar is a good quarterback.
We are wining because Lamar and our backs are running the ball effectively and dominating TOP which helps the defense
You’re joking right? Come on man, I don’t agree with it but what he said has nothing to do with race. Don’t go pulling the race card shit. That’s a pretty racist comment . Just because he is dynamic doesn’t mean he can’t play qb and he has a pretty high ceiling at that.
The real problem is thinking that comment was racist*rereads 5 times*
WTF does race have to do with this and where did anyone except you bring race up?
The fuck man

I’d like to add here that Lamar isn’t a run first qb. Unless the play is a designed run, he is always keeping his eyes downfield . He also goes through his progressions MUCH better than Joe Flacco.I’m not a big fan of run first QB but how can you not like a mobile QB? They avoid pressure and sacks and extend plays. You must mean run first QB otherwise I’ll disagree. Lamar could be a great WR potentially sure but he’d have to learn routes and all this other stuff. Josh Reynolds is a guy like that and it took him years. Jackson can make throws and he can even throw it deep he just needs work on refining his game.
Does Joe do things better than Lamar? Yeah he does but Lamar does things better than Joe too. I think that’s unfair of you to cherrypick what Lamar doesn’t do as well or better than Joe. Lamar does a better job of hitting guys in stride than Joe from what I’ve seen. He also has better awareness but his accuracy isn’t as good but Lamar looks poised and he’s developed rapidly so maybe he can still improve here this year. Let the year play out and we can assess them both more accurately by the end of the year.

Eh, he scrambles and has more time/feels more comfortable to do through progressions. He still misses some receivers in his reads and running sometimes hurts because it eliminates half the field.
Joe reads fine when he feels comfortable and is in the zone. He’s just unfortunately gotten a bit more rattled since his knee injury.
