The Good, the bad, and the inability to beat good teams

You don’t risk players for short term success.

Unless you approve of how the skins treated RG3
Rg3 should have been taken out of the playoff game after reinjurimg the lcl. He was very good the week prior to the playoffs ans was doing really well in the playoffs as they went ahead 14-0.

The only reason it didn’t work is rg3 didn’t want to do it anymore, even though he was never hurt in a zone read play. He only got injured scrambling

Don’t compare the two, I watched game of rg3s and was a season ticket holder

Rg3 also never had the poise that Lamar already has

I’m not saying they are comparable but just that playing to win the game doesn’t mean you don’t factor in risks and player safety.

You could say, why play Flacco since he could have a devistating injury. You can’t wire about things like that. This is football

I think Harry is going top 15. He won’t reach us

That's why I said trade guys, trade picks. Do whatever it has to take to make it happen. Drafting a QB in the first round is a rarity here and we cant blow it by just giving him cast offs to start his career. That's just effed up to him and the fans. Get the kid a guy he can grow with. Chris Moore is another guy that hasn't been given a fair shot. They just keep bringing cast offs in here and limiting his snaps. Moore would have already made a name for himself on another team. Next year I would like to see Moore, Lasley, Montgomery and Brown play 50+ snaps a game. The rest should be cut or traded. Snead is ok too but it's a shame that I feel that way due to not seeing enough out of him. He does however make the best out of his limited playing time. Snead or Moore is how I look at it leaning more towards Moore cause we drafted him.

The truth is I don’t think that this team with Joe or Lamar is going to win a Super Bowl this year.

That said I think it’s more likely with Joe if we make the playoffs that it would be with Lemar. And even if we don’t make the playoffs or don’t go all the way in the playoffs, whoever is playing at the quarterback position is going to be at risk of injury, heck even non-mobile quarterbacks are at risk of injury. Lamar is so talented that I fear he’s going to we’re at rely on the athleticism to the point of flirting with recklessness. If he’s going to be our long-term guy I’m a little concerned about playing him now when he’s so raw - IF Joe is able play which he likely will be next week.

I had my share of concussions playing football . Debilitating with impaired vision, nausea . Football injuries happen .

This was arguably his best game yet. So idk what you’re insinuating. It’s not that we lost. It’s that I continue to see him in harms way when he shouldn’t be and someone experienced like Joe sees that blitz coming and sets the protection better, plus Joe is more the body type to to take hits and isn’t going to be our long term starter for the future like Lamar is. I don’t fucking get why everyone is so short sighted , if Lamar is the real deal let’s not prematurely blow it.

Everyone isn't being shortsighted as you presume but more optimistic. In other words, we all (well most of us..lol) can clearly see that the future is now in Baltimore and his name is Lamar Jackson! And, one loss hardly solidifies your bias against him. To say that "Joe sees that blitz coming and sets the protection better" is wishful thinking and conjecture at best due to the fact that we've all seen Joe (for 11 years now) still get rocked, sacked and skull-dragged due to his inability to see blitzes coming at times.

Now, I agree, Joe has a more "durable" looking body type that can take some hits more than Lamar's but that doesn't mean that he should be the Ravens QB going forward. To me, Flacco has hit his ceiling! I'm so past that cat but Lamar? This kid has tremendous growth potential to morph into a good QB . Give it time. After all, it's taken Flacco 11 years to still play like trash but this kid is just a rookie!

LET HIM PLAY!

The difference is that if Joe gets hurt, he can recover and still likely be traded or if it’s like a career ending injury the worst that we have is some wasted money in cap space which we were already going to deal with it if we traded him him. If the lamar gets hurt iy could stunt his development or worse.

At this point I think that if he could get to a point of like 200 passing yards a game , 60% completion percentage and maintain his current TD/Int ratio , he could be incredible. I just don’t want to see him push too hard given the stakes of these games are soon getting higher and the competition fiercer
