I'm also down with this. This is Lamar's team now especially after he threw the go-ahead TD pass. But Dom, he fumbled? I understand this, but his positives and negatives outweigh Joe's.

Today showed me the problem is what I thought it was all along. We need new blood in the coaching staff. The team itself is talented to keep a game close with the Chiefs. With real coaching minds we're a top team in the conference, even with a few roster tweaks.

Harbaugh, Marty, Wink need to go. We can win games with Lamar, a good run game, and a good defense. Build up the trenches this offseason, find a FS to replace Weddle, and pray to god Lamar keeps developing at a what is very impressive rate and this team could be a title contender as soon as next season.

Let me clarify. I don't think Wink is trash. I'm not the biggest fan of the sheer amounts of blitzes, but he's far better than Pees. I just want us to transition into a 4-3. We have two LBs that should be in coverage a solid amount of the team and could mitigate CJ's weaknesses from the MIKE.

I think Wink could be solid somewhere else. I think to adapt to the modern NFL, at least for us, the 4-3 where Bowser and Kenny can go into coverage far more often would be the most beneficial. We need a way to stop TEs like Kelce. The Chiefs are going to be a key rival for us moving forwards if we look to advance to a top tier contender for the postseason.

It even happens to Tom Brady...unless its obviously the QBs fault because they sit in the pocket for 3 years, ive always thought it was kind of stupid to blame a qb for a strip sack. Especially if its a quick developing play.

Well to be fair, no QB is immune to being strip sacked. It happens. He's gotta clean it up. I still can't stress enough how rejuvenated our running game has been with Lamar. High flying offenses are cool, but this is literally the next best offense to have.

It's kind of a reason I want a 4-3. Pierce has been great, and Henry is a much better fit in a 4-3(yeah I know, everyone has forgotten about him). I agree that another interior dlinemen could be useful, but with David Irving's issues, I'd take a chance. He might not be overly expensive. I wish we had a Chris Jones type, but hey, Correa.

The defense, if we keep CJ, has a great foundation moving forward. I'd go try to find another good edge defender and interior pass rusher if I could though.

I assume we're talking about the 47 yarder or whatever to Hill on 4th and 9? Not at all Jimmy and I don't understand how you came to that conclusion.

My guess is a Tampa 2. Two deep safety shell, Mosley that far downfield, Jimmy forcing an inside release while staying underneath. I'm 99% certain that was Tampa 2 and that makes it 100% on CJ Mosley.

Honestly, I think he could've been a massive x-factor for us. Him and Timmy have loads of talent. But Harbaugh needs to fill the injury quota somehow. Fuck, I broke my foot two months ago. Wasn't that enough for you John?

Him and Suggs, at least the past two seasons, seem to get better as the season moves along.
